I have recently been sampling D&G The One for Men and actually really really like it. Well for the whole 30-45 mins it stays on your skin for. Virtually is gone after this time.
I want to try a fragrance that is very similar to this D&G but lasts throughout the day. Any recommendations please. Some one has said that chanel egoiste is similar.
Most dont like The Ones vanillary scent but for me in the office is great and inoffensive.

Cheers Volley and hednic.
I love your suggestions volley. I am so intrigued to get some samples of bond No.9 scents which you refered me to try a little while back. They are jus so expensive. Just need to find the samples.
Gucci Envy is a more grown up version of The One IMO.
I will have to try these out and see. Cheers guys
kenzo jungle after the first 15-20 mins
I think that The One is quite unique. But at least give Creed Aventus a try
I doubt that this is a helpful answer, but D&G By Man has some noticeable similarities, though much less sweet. It just has so many other availability problems.
The One is a great scent, maybe a little too soft but it's definitely something nice.
But as everyone here complains about, the longevity is disappointing and you have to bathe in it just to make it stay on you.
I haven't found too many scents that are all that similar to The One. I could do without the top of it as I think it to be kind of sour if I could find something that has a similar dry down as that's the best part... for the short time it lasts.
If it were stronger I would own this. Would Gucci PH be similar to this?
lure by ajmal smells very much like it with mega longevity and heady sillage a little too much for me.
Try The One Gentleman - it lasts and projects for quite a while, at least on my skin. No other advices thus far as Gucci Envy is discontinued. You might also wanna give a chance to Chanel Allure.
I just bought a tester bottle of The One, and by doing close sprays it lasts 6-8 hours on my skin this summer season (though, the temperature is always cool where I work).
Also, it's not a mind-blowing fragrance. But, it's unique, my girlfriend likes it, and I've gotten compliments since I started wearing it at work.
A guy at work wears The One and he must use a bottle a night because the smell lingers for 10 minutes wherever he has walked. It's like a scent trail.
@zgb, I have worn Allure but it doesn't project much on me. Powerhouses and stronger frags are usually what I go for due to my skin eating anything I put on it.
Michael for Men by Michael Kors and John Varvatos (original) have some similarities to The One.
Some day's you're the statue and some days you're the pigeon.
Cuba City Hollywood smells a lot like The One to my nose, but has a strong tobacco note.
I tried to look for similar ones, but alas it's not easy. I thought Michael for men might be it, but that thing is a bit too masculine, The One is much softer and gentler in the opening. I think it's a really nailed, perfect...yet flawed scent. If it was only amped up it would be insanely hyped.
You should sample "Villain" by Ed Hardy. Don't let the Ed Hardy name discourage you, Villain smells extremely similar to The One, the only difference I can smell are in the initial sprays. Give both of them a short time to dry down and they smell pretty much identical to me.
