    Default Since fashion/design/perfume seems to call Paris its "Mecca"......................what

    would you consider the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on..................runner up city/regions?


    I'm guessing here but most would say Paris is perfumery's center of the universe, am I wrong?

    Actually, I believe Grasse is to perfume what Detroit used to be to automobiles.

    After Paris, New York, Tokyo, Singapore & Dubai.

    Probably in that order too.

    I've been to UAE not Singapore, what makes Singa Pura and Dubai 4th & 5th?

    There are still a few, very few brands that are not available here and in Singapore yet like Frederic Malle, Profumum, Santa Maria Novella, but what puts Dubai & Singapore on the list is availability of such niche houses as Lorenzo Villoresi, Frapin and Parfum d'Empire for example. I think Dubai is 4th then Singapore is 5th.
