Musc Ravageur, Carnal Flower, Vetiver Extraordinaire, Une Fleur De Cassie, Geranium Pour Monsieur, Portrait Of A Lady (marked as feminine but does great also on a man).

    I've sampled;

    Musc Ravageur
    Carnal Flower
    French Lover
    Vetiver Extraordinnaire

To me Musc Ravageur is by far the best.

I have a sample of Noir Epices on the way too.

Noir Epices is my own personal favourite, but..........

En Passant is the one I'd label as a masterpiece due mainly to the way such a relatively straightforward accord is handled - the result is ethereal, yet truly spectacular.

They are generally very high quality fragrances. Which ones are masterpieces is fairly subjective, but for me Carnal Flower would be among the most likely contestants for that title, along with Portrait of a Lady and Geranium pour Monsieur.

I've smelled them all and own Une Rose, but all things considered, I vote for Carnal Flower.

Likewise, and I think MR is an excellent fragrance.

Une Fleur De Cassie is my favourite at the moment followed by Carnal Flower but the whole range seems to be well above average.

I'll go out on a limb and mention Bigarade Concentrée followed by Musc Ravageur.

I think Une Fleur de Cassie qualifies - regal and vampy in a 1930s kind of way - but that's just me.

L'Eau d'Hiver is inspired by a true masterpiece - Ellena's 'tip of the hat' to Aprés l'Ondee.

Carnal Flower is a terrific natural tuberose composition.

Personal favourites that I tend to wear a lot (more or less in order):

    French Lover
    Bigarade Concentrée
    Geranium Pour Monsieur

The above three are arguably (IMHO) masterpieces of contemporary masculine styled fragrances given the dearth of quality stuff out there for men these days.

    Noir Épices
    Angeliques Sous la Pluie

I love Carnal Flower and Portrait of a Lady on my wife. My mom smells great in En Passant.

Musc Ravaguer is my favorite from the house both personally and on a woman. Dans Tes Bras is beautiful and I own a bottle, but ultimately it's too feminine for my taste.

I have samples of Vetiver Extraordinaire, Iris Poudre and Une Fleur De Cassie
    .

    I have sampled

    Vetiver Extraordinaire
    Carnal Flower
    Noir Epices
    Geranium pour Monsieur
    Musk Ravageur
    French Lover

Actually, the least loved by me is Carnal Flower because I do not like tuberose.I appreciate to some degree Musk Ravageur but I don't share the rapture of many Basenotes members.
Out of these six fragrances I like without any hesitation only one-French Lover.

    Thumbs up Re: Frederic Malle

    All of them, IMHO
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

I like the house! Every fragrance is an interesting story to wear. Masterpiece?? Maybe all, maybe none - its a matter of opinion. My two favorites are: Bois d' Orage (French Lover) and Angelique sous La Pluie.
