    Post I can't believe I wore THAT!

Ever had a favorite fragrance that you can't imagine ever wearing again?

Maybe it was just a crazy choice from the start, or maybe it's just so not you now.

Kenneth Cole Reaction, Hei, and Nautica Voyage throughout highschool (graduated 4 years ago--I'm 21 now)...yup, I think it's safe to say my tastes have certainly changed since then.

What I've been wearing far too much of lately:

    -Amouage Lyric Man
    -Guerlain Gourmand Coquin
    -Creed Jardin d'Amalfi

I don't think I would knowingly wear anything that would make me feel uneasy.

Considering my earliest frag was Armani Eau Pour Homme, I guess I didn't fare too badly. Looking back, the list didn't look all THAT bad...

    Armani Eau Pour Homme
    RL Polo
    RL Polo Sport
    RL Polo Black
    Hugo Boss Baldessarini
    Cerrutti Image
    Giorgio Beverly Hills
    Tommy Hilfiger Tommy
    L'eau d'Issey pour Homme
    Davidoff Cool Water
...+ some obscure Yves Rocher stuff.

Nowadays I find myself wearing out fragrances I wouldn't have dared to wear in the past, incl. soliflores like SL Sa Majeste La Rose! For me it's more of a 'I can't believe I'm wearing THIS!"

Love it on paper. But once it was on me I found it to be very nauseating. L'eau d'Issey pour Homme To floral imo

Incredibly (disappointingly!) I can't think of anything I own / used to own which I can't imagine wearing now... they all have a special place in my heart. Though I doubt I'll ever need to restock Amarige, what with its limited potential for use in polite society
I'll always make time for cats and roses

    My great loves:
Mitsouko, L'Heure Bleue, Caron Pour un Homme, Dune, Fat Electrician, Oxford and Cambridge, Eau de Campagne, Elixir des Merveilles, Sarrasins, MKK, Ambre Sultan, Tocade, Dzing!

    Current obsessions:
Le Temps d'Une FÍte, Tom of Finland, Jasmin et Cigarette, Dirty (not dirty at all )

That's interesting. For me, that would be a no. My parents are into fragrances so I did get a good start as a kid. I would wear them all again with no regrets. I am in my twenties so perhaps it is too soon to say? Now, if you include "I can't believe I sampled THAT" well... here I have a million lol! Off the top of my head:

-Byredo Gypsy Water and M/Ink (YUCK!!)
    -Demeter Thunderstorm
    -Hanae Mori Magical Moon
    -Neonatura (Nausea inducing!)

-Sonoma Fireside Intense (this one I truly enjoyed sampling but my increasing self consciousness made me realize that it was my "stay at home alone and feel sexy" fragrance, not for public consumption lol). I guess this goes in the "I can't believe I wore that in PUBLIC!" category

I have a lot more but these quickly came to mind.

Not embarrased about any purchases of my younger days, just wish I had stockpiled some which are no longer made.
Really relating to your Amarige quote, anotherlemontree. I recall wearing this constantly in the late 90's but when I pulled out my bottle for yesterday's "One star sync" I found I had only used about an inch- such is the AWESOME POWER therein ....LOL!
