Both are amazing scents. I prefer Tuscan Leather over Oud Wood though.

For me, Tuscan Leather out of those two. Oud Wood is beautiful!

i have both. I like Tuscan Leather more but that's because I like leather a little more than i like oud. If you like our more than leather, then go with Oud Wood!

preferably go with both! I would say that Tuscan Leather is a true fragrance all-star. Oud Wood is good, but not quite as legendary.

These two are my two favorites of the Tom ford Line and have a hard time preferring one over the other. I had to have both of these gems. My fav used to be TV, but TV is not as wearable.

I have the homages of both, from surrati.
Never tried the originals, but the thread says that surrati pure parfum oils are very very close to them.

Also, i prefer Oud Wood (called Tom Oudy by Surrati) over Tuscan Leather (Tuscany Leather by Surrati)

I have both, but find TL to be better. I love how, after wearing it for one day, I wake up and take a hot shower and catch wafts of it in the steam. It seems to go through more of a development to my nose, too. I enjoy Oud Wood, but it's on the softer side and doesn't last as long. If it were as long lasting as TL, they'd be neck and neck.

Both are good but my vote goes to Oud Wood, which is a really nice and complex synthetic oud. Tuscan Leather is good, but in the leather genre I prefer others (Knize Ten, Bandit, Rien), even though the first two are not pure straightforward leathers (but have other notes added) and the third is a little disturbing and could thus be more difficult to pull off.

Tuscan leather for me, I had to sell my bottle of Oud wood due to a rubber glove note I was picking up which I could not live with.

I prefer Tuscan Leather. Strong Raspberry note to me, which calms down into a nice leather. Oud wood comes out smelling like faint blueberries and settles down into a calm synthetic oud scent. Both are great so i would suggest a sample before you buy.

Oud Wood is beautiful... I really cannot detect a "rubber glove" note, but then it's all down to personal perception.

TL is the better scent and more easily transferrable between seasons

Buy one, I'd pick Tuscan Leather, and I'd be shocked if the SA would not be more than happy to give you one of the 4ml samples of the other as well as anything else you'd like to try out. Especially if you buy this in store at Neiman's, they're usually very generous with samples, and I can only imagine them being even more generous with samples if you're making a purchase.
    Splits!
