Default Help in my next purchase.

I'm new in the world of fragrances and would like a tip in my next purchase. My aim is to attract girls and i basically use fragances on weekends and partys. I would like fragrances that have a good acceptance at all and are not so "popular".

    I already own:

Diesel Fuel For Life (I private wont love the smell, but seems to work well with chicks)

One Million Paco Rabane (Good one)

Acqua Gio (I like the smell but often I find someone with the same scent in the club )

    Armani Code (My favorite)

    Welcome!

You may want to start here: http://www.basenotes.net/threads/282...man-or-a-woman.

Then go out and sample, sample, and sample some more.

This! The best thing you can do it smell as many fragrances as possible (preferably by wearing them or testing on your arms) to get a sense of what is available and what is going to appeal to you. And if you have some free time, definitely read through a few threads here on the boards; there is a lot of great advice about quality scents available at all price levels. That should give you a start on fragrances that are quite nice but not nearly as popular as some of the best-sellers.

If your aim is to mainly attract girls/opposite sex in the high school/college scene. I'd go with sweeter gourmandy colognes.

Def. try La Nuit by YSL. It's great, less then 60 dollars and you can wear it all season. It's very versatile and you can even go on dates with it.

I personally don't like Le Male, but heard it's pretty popular and it's definitely perfectly suited for what your asking.

Another one that is really cheap is Rochas Man. Fruity Chocolaty vibe and for like a 50 ml bottle it's only like 20 bucks (got it from TJ maxx).

PURE HAVANE is a lil pricier but not a lot of our peers will have this. It smells delicious. has this smooth creamy coco vibe to it in the end that girls just love.

Two of the pricier ones that I really like that I believe fits with what you are asking are Aventus and Musc ravaguer. Niche and very expensive but awesomeness all over it.

All of them have great longevity (on me) and projects well ( on me). Give them a try if you can. Like people are saying if your not sure go sample them.

Those first two are the most important for "attracting girls".

Do the fragrance bit for yourself. As a girl, I can assure you that there is no generic "girls love this" fragrance out there, nor should there be. We love different scents on different guys, and usually when we love a scent on a guy, it's because we find him devastatingly attractive, not vice versa.

The best advice is to sample as many perfume as possible, frequently ignoring whether they are marketed for men or for women, and decide what you love to smell / smell of. Explore the world of perfume and enjoy it for yourself. Have fun.
I'll always make time for cats and roses

    My great loves:
Mitsouko, L'Heure Bleue, Caron Pour un Homme, Dune, Fat Electrician, Oxford and Cambridge, Eau de Campagne, Elixir des Merveilles, Sarrasins, MKK, Ambre Sultan, Tocade, Dzing!

    Current obsessions:
Le Temps d'Une Fte, Tom of Finland, Jasmin et Cigarette, Dirty (not dirty at all )

Currently wearing: S by Giorgio Armani

Try general hygiene, a winning personality, some self confidence balanced with humility, add whatever smells good to YOU.

Just sayin'. And definitely read the thread that was linked above
