Default Looking for a fresh scent with good longevity and projection!

You guys have given me great advice since becoming a member. So, I am looking to get some more advice once again. I currently have a top ten of Chergui, Tobacco Vanille, Rose 31, Musc Ravageur, Green Irish Tweed, Tonka Imperiale, Meharees, Colonia Assoluta, Castile and Avignon. It is a pretty eclectic taste for sure. I really like Assoluta and Castile but I am searching for something with a little more projection and longevity.
If you guys could give me a top five for fresh scents I would really appreciate it?

I find that fresh citrus notes tend to be very fleeting (and I find that Castile gets worse and worse as it progresses) and prefer vetiver for a long lasting freshness. A favorite is perhaps Vetiver Extraordinaire, but there's also Sycomore (a little wood) and many others (Lubin, Vetiveryo, etc etc). You seem to like sweet and tonka, so perhaps Vetiver tonka would do as well, though I find it a little too sweet.

Aqua Mat by Masaki Matsushima might be a good choice and it's not expensive.

Yessir, barely get 4 hrs out of it. I really wish it was more because I really like the scent. I can't justify the price tag due to longevity issues.

    - YSL Live Jazz
    - Mugler Cologne
    - Joop Nightflight
    - Perry Ellis 360 Red
    - Davidoff Cool Water

Those are my 5 top fresh scents right now, and all have decent projection/longevity.

Really? I get compliments after 9 hrs, and I have dry skin! Try a different batch maybe?

+1 compliments keep coming up to 9-10 hours after application. And I'm talking 3 sprays.

Does anyone know of any website that sells samples of L' humaniste besides Luckyscent? They are not willing to sell more than 2ml at a time. I don't think that is enough of a wearing to get a feel for the fragrance.

Cool Water has poor projection in my opinion.

To be frank 'fresh' and 'longevity' are pretty much polar opposites in meaning - to me, at least.

The beauty of these two, and similar citrus / orange flower / neroli styled eaux is that they feel fresh and alive because they are (to an extent) until those relatively short-lived notes burn off naturally. The more you try to extend them the more reliant on synthetics you become (particularly synthetic musks, as far as I am aware). Neroli Portofino and Lutens 'anti perfume' l'Eau both seem to do this pretty well. Maybe MFK's recent Absolue Pour Le Matin EDP might also be worth a look?

This probably won't help but if I want 'fresh' I go for:

    Eau de Guerlain
    Acqua di Parma Colonia
    Sous le Vent (Guerlain)
    Geranium Pour Monsieur (Frederic Malle)
    Nicolai Pour Homme
Oxford & Cambridge Lavender (Czech & Speake)
