Default Serge Lutens Chene reminds me of a raw Creed MI?

So I just sampled this wonderful juice I received from luckyscent. There is something in the drydown of Chene that has that same grassy, fruity smell Creeds MI has and I absolutely LOVE it. Does anyone else get the same feel from this one? This is a love at first sniff for me and will be buying it in the future.

Chène is IMO the best (and most versatile) scent from Serge Lutens. I don`t get the similarities with M-I. Chène is more oak all the way.

Agree with Mr. Oslo-Fjord: Chene = oak. Lots of oak. MI - not really getting oak out of it. I own and like both fragrances. I can see some similarities in the drydown. But not very related, IMO.

[on a slightly unrelated topic: I got a bottle of SL Un Bois Vanille in the mail yesterday, and it strikes me as Chene, with some vanilla and coconut thrown over the top. Anyone else get that?]

Truly a wonderful scent. The small size is the only thing holding me back from buying it.

Chenê is one of the best SL perfumes and certainly the best oak based perfume. Come to think of it, are there any competitors?
    No relation to MI.

Buy 2 of the temporary export 50ml bottles. Also you have over 1,000 FB 100ml bottles. I doubt you'll ever finish Chenê. Dont you own any other SL? They all come in 50ml except the bell jars which aren't much more at 75ml.

Chene is a super-realistic oak; doesn't remind me of MI at all.

I think Chene is great smelling, but I tire of it on my skin, so I will probably not be keeping my bottle.

I've got to be honest - this one has shot to the top of my "To try" list based off the recommendation in another thread of a Basenoter who's opinion I greatly respect (AromiErotici). I'm hoping to get to the Bluemercury near me this Thursday (as they carry Serge Lutens) to see if you are right or not! ; )

Chene does smell somewhat familiar but not similar to MI IMO
