Default Help me with the Fonts used by some houses (Le Labo, Tom Ford, Dior and Chanel Private)

I would like to make some labels to my decants, and something close to the original would be nice.

Can you help me with the fonts that this houses use:

    Le Labo

    Tom Ford

    Dior Privée

    Chanel Les Exclusifs

Le Labo - Courier or Courier new
Tom Ford - Miriam or Mangal
Dior - Looks like just plain Times New Roman
Chanel - closest I could get was Arial/Arial Unicode MS, but nothing had the C like that.

(honestly I just went though the previews of each font though...)

Tom Ford is not Miriam or Mangal. Dior is Cocktail Regular http://www.ufonts.com/fonts/cocktail-regular.html
    Splits!

IIRC, the Chanel font is a custom font exclusive to Chanel. And given how Chanel guards their brand, don't expect to find it anywhere.
    Top 5 for Fall:
    1) Straight to Heaven - By Kilian
    2) New York - Nicolai
    3) Terre d'Hermes
    4) Aventus - Creed
    5)
Flower of Immortality - By Kilian

You could always just grab a shot of the Chanel font featuring the words/scent names you want, then load that image in a program like Inkscape, do a trace bitmap of it to get vectorized versions of each letter, and then resize and space them as needed.

The Z is definitely not the same, nor the m, and maybe some others.

    It's pretty darn close tho.

Tom Ford is Gotham, which is coincidentally, the same font used for Obama's 2008 presidential campaign. Unfortunately it's a commercial font, but there are loads of copycats available.

Chanel is likely to be a custom drawn logo, but there are also fonts based off it available.

Yes, also the comma is different, the dot is bigger and the zero is squared.
But i think ive made it close to the original.
    Lets try the others.

Notice the unusual "E" in the Chanel logo; the bottom stroke is slightly longer than the others.

Chanel-just use Arial set on bold. Close enough for me.
Dior is Times New Roman.(Way close enough for me.)

Ive never tried to replicate the Tom Fords. Thanks for giving the name of the font guys.

Dior is not Times New Roman, close, but not exact. It's the Cocktail Regular.

I've made a label for testing purposes but it ended up being quite cute and i will make a nicer version next week (printed in a adhesive, not at paper, I will cut it correctly and will use the correct size, 1 oz)

Isnt the cuttest Le Labo bottle that youve ever seen?

    You mean typefaces, not fonts.

Found this one for Chanel on the Interwebz:

    http://cbabb.deviantart.com/art/COUTURE-286219187

Dollar sign '$' is the chanel interlocking "C's".
Pound sign '#' is the number as in "No" with a superscript 'o'.

    It's nice work.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I'm thinking of making some labels for decants I'm sharing with my brother, and this is helpful.

Does anyone have any info on the fonts used by Frederic Malle, by Kilian and Serge Lutens? I remember seeing a killer Serge Lutens label a while ago from Kron, I think...

Also, for those that make labels for splits, do you use normal printing paper? Or is there some type of adhesive label that can be used? For my purposes, I'll probably just print it out on normal paper, but I'm curious if there's a gold standard that is affordable.

3M makes full page permanent adhesive stickers that work great. Any type of address labels will work if you can format the pic to fit on the sticker and cut to size after.
