Default Which of your fragrances do you own back-up bottles for?

I'm interested to know what you guys are hoarding. For me, I tend to back up discontinued scents or when I see a great deal.

    I currently have back-ups of:
L'Instant de Guerlain EDT 75ml in addition to my 125ml
L'Instant de Guerlain EDP 75ml in addition to one 75ml
Dior Homme Intense 100ml X2 in addition to one 100ml
Blue Sugar 50ml in addition to one 50ml
Paul Smith London 30ml in addition to one 30ml
Jubilation XXV 50ml in addition to one 100ml
Burberry London 100ml in addition to one 30ml
Tomorrow for Men 75ml in addition to 75ml currently in use

Ironically, these are some of my least sprayed frags! Am hoping to back up my Pure Malt and Havane to either use or sell (as with the DHI bottles)

EDIT: Just picked up a Pure Malt for £62!

Most of my fragrance bottles, but mainly (thus, the more sought after, the more eagerly bought, the most "money is no object"-backups) for: Armani Eau pour Homme, Ungaro III, Guerlain Vetiver, Versace Blue Jeans, Versace l'Homme, Avon Black Suede Touch, Eau Sauvage, Gucci Envy for Men

I have a backup for Tea For Two (got a good deal) and for both Pure Malt and Pure Havane. These two I bought because of the limited availability, so I could decide to keep one backup bottle or the other. I am quite decided on Pure Havane.

I don't have backups. If I find a deal i can pull the trigger, but so far i haven't done that.

I don't worry about fragrances being discontinued, if that happens I move on and look for another one, there are so many frags out there I like.

I have bought quite a lot of Dunhill Edition recently, but I don't see the point of hoarding too much. Other back-ups I have are vintage versions of Paco Rabanne PH, Davidoff Original, Gucci Pour Homme(Original), Beaujois' Or Masculin and Monsieur Carven.

At my age, having two bottles of anything is plenty.

A few discontinued Guerlains, and one or two favourites that have disappeared from the market here due to poor demand. I'm incilined to stock up on a few others that are too good to be true like New York & Tiffany for Men.

I really don't understand the logic behind back-up bottles. If one of my fragrances that I really like were to run out (not gonna happen any time soon since I have nearly 50 bottles) then i'd go to the shop and buy another one.

Yes all is well till you find out its either been discontinued or reformulated. I find the latter worse than the former.

Just took a look. Seems that I have lots of backups ... some of "signature"-type scents but also some of scents that I just got a good deal on.

I currently have ample back-ups of these ten:

Esencia Loewe 12 backup bottles of 100ml plus 4 x 50ml in addition to the 100ml I am currently using
Loewe Pour Homme 7 x 100ml in addition to my 100ml
Agua Fresca by Adolfo Dominguez 4 x 100ml in addition to 100ml in use
Chanel Allure Homme Sport 150ml in addition to one 50ml
Ermenegildo Zegna Essenza di Zegna 2 x 50ml in addition to 50ml
    Halston 1-12 5 x 100ml backups
Mémoire d'Homme by Nina Ricci, 2 backups
ST Dupont Signature pour Homme, 2 x 100ml in addition to 100ml
Wings by Police, 3 x 50ml in addition to one 50ml in use
    Pura Esencia Man by David Bisbal 4 x 50ml and 2 x 100ml backups, plus 1 x 50ml in use

The first three are fragrances that I never want to be without, ever, in my life. Whereas the last five on the list were bought in bulk for being on sale.

LOL- There is no logic involved in back-up bottles of perfume, wine and (for me) having a gazillion different bottles of nail polish, multiple tubes of mascara, and enough bars of soap to bathe an army.

Passions and logic conflict. Sort of an oxymoron.

I have an ample supply of most the frags I really like, but I have no more than about 40 fragrances. I've been thinking about refining my wardrobe a bit so that frags I like the most will get rotated in more frequently. I'm not too worried about the fragrances degrading but I realize some will fare better over time than others. I have a few 20-30 year old frags that are just fine (Derby, Paco Rabanne Pour Homme).

Not if it was discontinued you wouldn't! To be fair though, most, if not all of you fragrances are well into the mainstream, so you wouldn't have a problem finding them again. Of my 70+ fragrances, some are limited editions or just back-ups I bought because the deal was too good to pass up.
