I only date gourmans who pay for dinner.
I personally only enjoy gourmands when the sweetness is contrasted with some inedible note. My favorite gourmand is Lutens' Fille En Aiguilles, a candied pine.
Thread: Best Gourman to Date ? |

I have to put in a vote for ELdO Noel au Balcon. As the name suggests, it's a very Christmasy gourmand: it smells like sweet gingerbread. But what really sets it apart are some very surprising notes that you wouldn't expect in a gourmand, but that are nonetheless integrated perfectly. There's a very strong pepper note in there. And it dries down to a floral musk!
Also, Elixir des Merveilles deserves a mention.
Hermes Hermessence Ambre Narguile....fruit, honey and spices - I get so many comments when I wear it
Another vote for Ambre Narguille!
I haven't tried many but if L'instant de Guerlain Extreme is considered a gourmand, I'll pick that for now.
I don't like many... but I like Frapin 1270. It has a nice butterscotch scent.

I think Ambre Narguile is best as well.. More of a oriental gourmand though. In terms of GOURMAND gourmand.. A*Men certainly sets the bar high, not many can hang with it.
Dior Homme Intense and New Haarlem. Is a vanilla scent considered a gourmand? Then I'd include Spiriteuse Double Vanille.
Current Top Five:
1. Creed Green Irish Tweed
2. Tom Ford Neroli Portofino
3. Hermes Concentre d'Orange Verte
4. Bond No. 9 New Haarlem
5. Creed Original Vetiver
Fille en Aiguilles is a gourmand???
Tonka Imperiale is my favorite.
I can't choose.... For me, it's between New Haarlem, Ambre Narguile and Tonka Imperiale...
Tonka Imperiale
Burberry London for Men
Endymion by Penhaligons
Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin
Despite its risky in-your-face impression on other noses, i will gladly wear A*men on a date.
Second option would be no other than the one and only : Dior Homme intense.
Hypocrites will always be a thorn in my back....and my middle finger will always be the best remedy.....
+1 on Tonka Imperial, glorious gourmand scent.
Vetiver Tonka is probably my favourite though, shortly followed by Angel, the grand-mother of all new gourmand scents![]()
À l'air libre les oiseaux ont eux aussi le vertige (camille)
Body Kouros YSL, i feel a*men is too strong for a date but maybe because i live in hot tropical place.
