Default Can you get the a new car smell scent or something close to it.

I want my car to have that good fresh smell again.

I work at a restaurant. And I play a lot of a sports. So.....

Does not really have to be a new car smell, just something close to it. Just anything that can eliminate odors and provide a fresh smell that is not overwhelming.

I have cloth interior, not leather.

I vacuum my car about every 2-3 weeks.

I tried FeBreze and Lynsol. FreBreze last like a day. And Lynsol makes my skin very very itchy. FeBreze makes my skin a little itchy as well.

Tried to get a interior detailing as well. But I think I need a good scent to finish it off.

I tried leaving my windows open/cracked. But I stopped doing that because a couple of times, some bumblebees sneaked inside. And it really does not do much.
    I want to smell good.

Get the inside steam cleaned, or you can do it yourself if you rent the equipment. Make sure you dry out your car thoroughly afterward. Lightly spray the seats with Scotchgard after it has dried. The Scotchgard will be the final touch and add that slightly plastic smelling new car scent. Don't Scotchgard without steam cleaning first. Done.

You got any type of Scotchgard you recommend? I was going to buy one online, but you had several different type of sprays.

Either the Upholstery or Fabric protector products will work. Don't forget the steam cleaning before Scotchgarding, otherwise you'll just be sealing in the dirt and body grime.

Is that just some regular steam cleaner. I am not sure what that thing is actually called.

I want to rent one, since I will not make much use of buying one.

Only plan on using it 1 or twice a year.

Get it with the hand wand.

Make sure you take some pictures of the brown water and post them here.

My car is a about 2 years and 1 month old, bought it new, so hopefully it is not that bad. I have car seat covers in the driver and passenger seat, which I installed in June.

So hopefully it is not that bad, but it probably will be.

EDIT: I might be busy with school and work, till winter break. So I am not sure if I am even going to do this any time soon.
