Default JUst tried Sisley's Eau de Campagne, nice, my take: It seems to fall somewhere in between

    G. Beene's Bowling Green and Guerlain's Imperiale or Hermes' Vert d'Orange.

Really like it as if you're standing on the edge of a forest area and a citrus grove.

    Your take?

One of my favorites. Timelessly fresh.

I bought it blind and tried it a few days ago myself and really liked it too. It has been a couple of years since I have worn LV Spezie, but I think it may vaguely remind me the most of that great scent (could be the tomato leaf note). Eau de Campagne is one of JC Ellena's best, IMO.

For me, the distinctive and appealing feature of Eau de Campagne is its accurate rendition of a freshly-rubbed tomato leaf. Surrounded by lots of perky, even crunchy, green notes, I think it is a very good scent.
I've tried Bowling Green but never found it compelling. I remember a mossy scent. Eau D'Orange Verte is excellent but I find it quite different from Campagne. EDOV is a very crisp citrus-green scent, just as the name suggests. Guerlain Imperiale... I remember it as a classy eau de cologne style scent, citrus but not quite as green as EDOV. Whereas I don't find citrus to be a dominant element in Campagne.
    That's my take.

Too grassy for my taste and only marginally resembling a zestier, greener version of Eau D'Orange Verte
