All were expensive to expensive-ish for me.

Love and wear all. Zero regrets!

How could I forget Aventus! It's the most expensive of all the Creeds I've purchased and definitely have zero regrets. As a second cousin, I also bought Royal Vintage from M. Micallef. It has an Aventus-ish opening but is different on the drydown.

    Love both

I'd love to say Puredistance M, but I'm still not entirely sure about it thanks to the cumin note.

That being the case, probably Tauer Au Coeur du Desert. Xerjoff Kobe is a contender, but at this point I've only picked up a 10mL decant, so the actual cost was relatively low.

    Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum (2012)
    Diptyque Tam Dao EdP

The latter performs superb for a sandalwood dominant fragrance, the former is just a beast.

best to try a sample first. on me it hangs around all day, not as strong on projection as Nio after 2-3 hours but very persistent with more moderate projection. my favourite is to layer it with the scented lotion they do and you get stronger presence through the whole wear. when layering with the lotion I've still smelt it over a day later. i find it strange the feedback on poor performance as it's easily one of the stronger citrus scents I've tried. it's just not a 'heavy' type of scent, it lingers in a more subtle way but it's definitely there for a good while. one you wear for more for yourself vs a projection beast.

Technically speaking at suggested retail cost it would be Aventus but I got my bottle from Costco for 59.99.
So the most expensive paid with no regret is Tom Ford Oud Wood 50ml at full retail.

I'm happy to hear that frag lovers are getting their hands on this and not just people looking to resell for profit

Bond No 9 Bleecker St (100ml bottle too, as it was becoming hard to find in the UK so had to pony up the money for what I could get).

Although BN9 prices are exorbitant, there's nothing that smells quite like this one. It's also incredibly versatile, which actually makes this good value for money.

At present, £100-150 is usually my spending limit for a bottle, regardless of size.

It's almost cheating, but a very vintage bottle of Knize Ten.

Some of my Creeds in their 250ml flacons. Much better value than their now tiny sized equivalents.

Xerjoff Kobe is another one - purchased earlier this year.

Man this stuff is so good, but I'm always worried I'm offending the people around me. It's the only fragrance that I can smell coming off of me a good 10 hours after application. And it's not a safe scent by any means. My wife hates it.
