Default Is Nightflight different enough to Cool Water to own both?

I love Cool Water, it's always been my fav. Read some reviews on Joop! Nightflight and it sounds as if i'd like it.

Nowhere to try/sample it locally so was wondering if it's worth owning both or just the one?

    Thanks guys.

Indeed highly different, though both have a certain aquatic note, Nightflight has a an additional pineapple-fruity note, as well as a "mellow Oriental" note during the drydown is highly distinct, not just in relation to Cool Water

Thanks, would you say Nightflight is a good night time fragrance?

Really tempted to blind buy it

    Yes.

But IMO it's not a night time scent per see. As the hour fade away I most often than not crave heavier, more sensual scents. Nighflight would not be one of them.

I like Cool Water (Creed ripoff? Anyone?) but canīt stand the pineapple note in NightFlight. I would choose Joop Jump over NightFlight.

I like and own both Cool Water and Nightflight. They are both fresh fougere type scents, but are very different.
I wouldn't call Nightflight an evening scent myself. To me, it's a really bright, ultra refreshing daytime fragrance. Some talk about the sweeter, softer drydown, but on my skin, it stays pretty bright, fresh, and tart till the end. It basically smells like a combination of pineapple and lemon over the top of a detergent/dryer sheet type of freshness. Also, it's not really "watery" or aquatic in feel, but instead it has almost a fizzy/sparkly/powder type feeling underneath the citrus and detergent notes.
Also, the lemon/pineapple is very tart and tangy (not sweet at all).

But to me, it just smells really refreshing and very clean. (almost like a breath of fresh air). Scentedmonkey.com did have samples you could order for $2.99. (not sure if they still do or not). But for me, it's a definite thumbs up.

As far as comparisons to Cool Water, they both have that same kinda "fizzy" feeling underneath, but CW is sweeter, while NF is much more tangy/citrusy.

The two fragrances are very different and can both be in the same collection. I was surprised when so many reviews mentioned Cool Water. I see the point the reviewer is trying to make, but still kinda unneccesary. Both are nice to smell, but Nightflight is not a "safe" fragrance, as the top notes are a bit jarring.

Nope, you are wrong. Cool Water is not a Creed ripoff.

Just checked Scentedmonkey.com. You can still order a sample of Nightflight for $2.99 or a 100ml bottle for $33. (That's in the U.S. Not sure about whether they ship overseas). That's where I ordered my bottle from a few months ago.

IMO if you have Cool Water the other is not necessary.
