Question Similar fragrances to Linitz Men by Estelle Ewen (or anything Minty Fresh Crisp Cool or Armani Code)

If you want to know the history behind my mess, visit this thread:

So anyways, as the title suggests I'm trying to find similar fragrances to Linitz Men by Estelle Ewen. I liked it and I love Armani Code. I owned Polo Black when I was younger.

I'm in love with minty scents. But to put that a bit more broadly I'd say fresh, crisp, cool, and stuff like that. I need to learn more about cologne/perfume/EDT... I thought knowing a lot about Audio, Photonics, Photography, Video, Art, and stuff like that would help me learn the terms here but I honestly think I just lack the connection between my olfactory sense and known smells.

PS: I have a feeling that I'm asking an entirely stupid question... Help!

******* token expiration. I wrote the longest reply on earth detailing fragrances and colognes that I enjoy and now it's all gone. I'm genuinely pissed.

    Anyways, let's try this again.

I have a lot to learn, mainly to assimilate with known fragrances with terms such as vetiver, spicy, or woodsy.
Within the next week or two I'll try visiting a perfumery to try the following colognes and then I'll report back:
    -Encre Noir by Lalique
    -Guerlain Homme by Guerlain
    -Iceberg Twice Homme by Iceberg
    -Metropolis by Estée Lauder
    -Cuba by Czech & Speake
    -Relax by Davidoff
-Odeur 53 by Comme des Garçons
-Adidas Moves by Adidas (just curious, I think I tried it and liked it at some point)
-cK one "Graffiti"by Calvin Klein (bottle designed by Delta as seen below)

PS: Weird question, but are there any kind of kits or packs of testers that I could buy in order to discover and learn various scents, fragrances, or notes?
