actually smelled rocky mountain today, have it on my left arm atm,
to me rocky mountain starts off very woody, later on drys down in a softer wood, a lil bit of sweetness and some pleasant florals in the mix, smells really naturey haha, def better then original he wood, which i rly dont even remember how it smelled like, only that i thought that i wudnt be gettin a bottle of it, rmw def will be my next to purchase..

I own He Wood and all of its flankers (He Wood Rocky Mountain Wood, Silver Wind Wood, Ocean Wet Wood). They are all at least "good" but I think He Wood Rocky Mountain Wood is excellent. On my skin and to my nose, it is very woodsy (I smell lots of cedar) and peppery. I smell some florals and slight sweetness, too. I get decent longevity (about six hours) and silage. I strongly recommend it.

He Wood has too much of a "fake" woodsy vibe. Far too synthetic, trying for a similar take on Grey Vetiver's fresh vetiver note, and failing pretty bad. He Wood's dry down smells like magic marker.. It's on my swap list.. :/

RMW is far better. It's something I grew tired of though, I'm prob gonna swap mine.

I like RMW more, but to me they both have that synthetic vibe. Depending on the mood and where I'm going, sometimes I disregard that synthetic vibe but sometimes it's too much and I neglect the fragrance altogether.
