The only thing Pure Havane and The Dreamer have in common is that they are both absolutely amazing.

If you've just purchased a few bottles of PH then why are you looking for something similar? Why not just use the real thing?

It really is hard to find something similar to Pure Havane. If you want a good mix of vanilla and tobacco try Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille...really that's the only thing I can think of that may be in the ballpark of PH. Be warned, it has a steep $200+ price tag for a 50ml bottle.

I just got L'Artisan Havane Vanille and it opens with more spice than Pure Havane, using clove I believe, but that burst mostly disappears within about 30 minutes. It isn't as sweet as PH even though the clove hints at sweetness as it dries down and hangs around in the background as rum and vanilla take a more prominent role. Also a tobacco accord rises up to mix with those other two. Once it gets into the dry down after and hour or so it really does smell almost exactly like PH without the synthetic edge you get from the A*Men base. Havane Vanille isn't as heavy as Pure Havane and can be worn in warmer temps, too.

Depends on what part of Pure Havane one wants in another frag. PH is unique, but in my wardrobe the frag that reminds me most of PH is Bogart pour Homme: sweet tonka base and also with a strong-ish cherry tobacco accord. Not exactly similar but both deliver sweetened tobacco very nicely.

Why buy something similar if you like Pure Havane? I bought mine off ebay for 65 bucks (Tester).

The OP already has pure Havane and backups, as stated. It would be nice if people responding to a thread would just answer what is asked instead of questioning the original poster's motives...

Now, addressing the question, I suggest you try Serge Lutens Chergui. Not really similar, but I think you might like it...

Ii agree, I found Bogart's drydown quite similar to PH. How about A*MEN?
