Default In Search of that Elusive Bottle of Cologne...HELP!

I, for some reason, after having wasted money on bottles and bottles of cologne, have formulated my ideal scent. Unfortunately, I can't find it, and was hoping I could harness the obsessive knowledge of all of you forumers to help me find it. Here is my vision:

I have always wanted a cologne that first and foremost reminds me of all of the men in my family who have worn cologne - my father, grandfather, etc. They all wore stuff in the realms of Old Spice and Brut, which bring back memories, but are always a bit too strong and "old man smelling" for me, and for some reason I always apply too much of them due to their splash bottles. I was hoping I could find a cologne with the basic gist of Old Spice - that spicey, authentic, rummy smell - in a more youthful scent that is not too overpowering. I almost imagine a combination of Burberry London and Old Spice; I was hoping for something that does not smell synthetic and is completely devoid of the caustic chemical smell of most colognes that are around today. Of course, in my dreams, this cologne has excellent (but not offensive) silage and longevity, but I can only ask for so much

So there is my challenge to all of the readers of this forum. Sorry about the length, but this has turned into more and more of a quest for me. Please help me find that cologne that I am beginning to feel just doesn't exist!

Have you ever tried Gucci by Gucci? I had a friend who loved Old Spice and now wears this.

Pour Old Spice EDC into an atomizer for better control. Tiffany for Men to me starts out like just like old spice and has a great, sweet drydown.
