British niche brand Miller Harris will launch two new fragrances, La Pluie and La Fumée, in September.
La Pluie (shown) ~ “an exotic rain storm with lots of white flowers and a secret rain cloud accord”; notes include bergamot, lavender, mandarin, mimosa, jasmine, ylang ylang, orange blossom, vetiver and vanilla.
La Fumée ~ a “smokey woody swirl that surrounds you – perfectly addictive!”; notes feature cistus, geranium, cardamom, coriander, cumin, elemi, papyrus, birch tar, incense, sandalwood, cedar and amber.
Miller Harris La Pluie and La Fumée will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
will test La Fumèe...thanks JC
Will give this a pass.
Interested in La Fumée. Now, if only I could find somewhere to test it......
Smelt La Fumee from a London high-street shop's pilot sample in August. I believe this will be a great hit. The name isn't just modern PR hype. Fumee interprets smoky woods quite accurately, translating the theme into a wearable, lovely smelling frag.
ointments and perfume delight the heart....
Yes, La Fumee sounds like something I could like. Must try it.

La Fumee sounds very interesting. I look forward to giving it a try.
I tried them both yesterday.
La Pluie is a white flower bouquet restrained by the vanilla. Very soft.
La Fumée is a dark incense. Smokey incense with some charred woods that sparkles because of the cardamom. Lovely.
La Fumee: Hedonist told me prior of me smelling it that it smelt like an Amouage. And it did. Dia Man more or less. Pointless if you already have Dia but good nonetheless. Need to smell again.
La Pluie: I got an irisy, dewey jasmine floral with hints of lily of the valley. Very pretty and well executed.
Tried La Fume and while it smells actually pretty good at the same time it's way too familiar. It sits somewhere between Carthusia 1681 and Bond No.9 Silver Factory (minus the iris). Nice but not FBW.
There's something very 'D&G Fragrance Anthology' about these two..
lol you guys are too much
