Oils and creams are effective but when you use a machine with high frequency it's result is instant. You can see the result every after use. I use Lift Wand with morrocan argan oil. I just used it in a week and the result is obvious that they though I was using make up when I was just at home.

I used the Ageless product from Jeunesse Global

I found it on the Doctor Vincent Giampapa website. Is researched leaded to the creation of the product.

Skinceuticals vitamin C serums, Phloretin CF for combo/oily or CE ferulic for normal/dry skin. Actually, www.cosmeticskinsolutions.com makes the EXACT same products at over 70% off.

Daily broad spectrum SPF, Elta MD and La Roche Posay make great ones, as do Skinceuticals.

A retinol based night cream to use a few times a week.

Maybe an eye cream/gel for puffiness and dark circles

I have a weakness for high end lines such as Sisley and ReVive, but enter at your own risk!

Just want to mention there are some excellent deals on eBay right now for the Zirh Platinum Skin Care Line. I've always liked Zirh products, and this is their high-end stuff.

It'll always be harder to recover from ageing than it is to prevent signs of ageing. In saying that though, if you're looking for a natural one, Hunter's Lab does a great anti-ageing cream. Whereas if you have some extra cash, Elemis also does a really good one for men called Anti-Ageing Time for Men. Best of luck !

I'm with you. I can't understand why people are fooled into thinking rubbing chemicals on their skin is going to stop them aging. Genetics are the major factor. Also, rubbing your skin creates wear. Years of rubbing in moisturiser will stretch the skin and increase sag, especially under the eyes where the skin is very thin and delicate.

I don't use sunscreen either. I don't like the idea of the sun's heat opening my pores to clog them with chemicals.

Fragrance is my chemical of choice.

Yes, honestly.. i don't understand people who believe that facial cremes will make you younger... so funny, how much people have a unhealthy habit eating junk-food all the time, not going to the gym, drinking to much alcohol and smoking a pack of cigarettes a day then the expect a "anti-aging" creme will fix this lol.

Off course it comes to genetics.. my mom is almost 60 and looks 45.. i am almost 30 and look 25.. when i am clean shaven i look 23.

People don't waste ur money.. on these legit scam products.

I remember standing with my Mum at the Clinique counter as some sales assistant was telling her how wonderful their anti-aging cream was. My Mum was listening with interest, all the while I'm looking at the sales assistant's face thinking she looked like a wrinkly old bag....so if the cream actually worked??

Anyone here a fan of The Ordinary? The
AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution has made a huge difference to my skin, as has Hylamide's Vitamin C Booster.

Truth is, the only things proven to help generate collagen production in the skin are Retinol, Vitamin C and acid peels, which are all irritating to a certain degree. I can't deal with highly concentrated active ingredients because they make my skin peel and look like I'm having facial dandruff which isn't a good look! To me it's all about prevention (SPF) and striking a balance with gentle formulations of the above.

I also use a generous amount of SPF 50 / PA ++++ sunscreen each day. Japanese formulations from Biore and Hada Labo work the best for me.

Hmm, I'll take note of this. It might come in handy in the foreseeable future.

Visit The Ordinary's website and have a look at their pricing. They're very inexpensive, and none of their formulas are greasy or heavy (they don't do creams).

I get my Japanese sunscreen off Adambeauty and it costs around 12 dollars a bottle I think. Again, the formulas tend to be very light.

Any supplement / cream / product containing collagen is your best bet to maintain youthful skin. You gradually make less of it as you get older which is why skin becomes more saggy. You also should take it with Vitamin C for maximum absorption. There's lots of research on it out there...it's not a scam product like a lot of these "beauty anti aging products". I would recommend ordering from one of those Asian brands on amazon. They have their skincare game on lock.

I have a somewhat different (and usually unpopular ) philosophy on this, but I'll tell you anyway, for your consideration. I'm not saying it's right for you, or better or worse than any other here, just what I've decided is right for me.

First, to start: In general, I try to stay away from toxic chemicals (no matter their justification in products) as much as I can. I seek out places like EWG.org to figure out how hazardous chemicals are, trying to stick only with things that are rated 1 (safest) on their 1-10 scale. Ironic, of course, since this is a perfume forum, and most perfumes get a 10 -- that is, they are filled with chemicals most strongly linked to endocrine disruptors, carcinogens, mutagens, etc. But given that I like perfume, I generally try to reduce my "toxic load" from other sources to close to zero. As a result, I've ended up with things like:

    Deodorant: https://bubbleandbee.com/almond-coco...nic-deodorant/
    Facial Soap: https://www.benaturalorganics.com/Ge...ser-p/gffc.htm
    Moisturizer: http://herbaliz.com/item_12/Moisturizing-Lotion.htm

Same philosophy with shaving cream, shampoo, laundry detergent ... you get the idea, outside of perfume, toxic load of carcinogens, mutagens, endocrine disruptors, immune toxins, etc., = zero. The upshot of all this is that: I smell as good as ever, and my skin looks as good as ever. Going from products loaded with 40 ingredients, many of which rate at 4 or above on EWG's toxicity scale, to what I'm doing now, I believe is going to buy me benefits in the long run (and even more so for you, at just 30 years old), and I've given up literally nothing on how my skin looks and feels (regardless of what the cosmetic industry says you "need" or what it promotes).

Now that you understand where I'm coming from (that is, no toxins acceptable from these products, which is different than many of the products being recommended above), which I feel is triply important for the often-more-sensitive skin on my face, what I recommend is:

    - When appropriate, wear a sunscreen (prevention beats the hell out of correction). You know what I'll say next: find one with a 1 or 2 rating on EWG.org. I would not smear all over my face a sunscreen loaded with things like oxybenzone (8 on the ewg hazard rating) every day. Even with safer sunscreens, my weather app tells me the UV index and I apply only when necessary.

    - If you want to wear a moisturizer, something like this, with few ingredients, all natural: http://herbaliz.com/item_12/Moisturizing-Lotion.htm (go with unscented) or https://bubbleandbee.com/certified-o...cream-for-men/ . Doesn't have to be those specifically, just examples of the kinds of ingredients you're looking for: zero toxins, all natural, 100% ingredients that rate no higher than a 1 on ewg's scale. I promise you, giving up all those stabilizing chemicals and the like will do you no harm, and will in fact do you a world of good.

    - If you decide you need to take more action, products like this still keep the toxic load down to nothing, and deliver a number of currently-hyped ingredients such as (stabilized) vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, ferulic acid. https://www.madhippie.com/products/vitamin-c-serum

Anyway, just my view: stick with non-toxic ingredients, it will be a huge win in the long term.
