Thanks. Ill keep a look out.
Thread: Jil Sander Men Absolute
I picked this up today at the small Jil Sander boutique in Osaka. They had a grand total of three bottles and the sales girl found me a tester while I gazed at the very expensive clothes. Jil Sander is strictly high-end on that score. I'm not sure I could spend most of a month's salary on a sweater.
Thankfully, the fragrance is high-end too. A lovely warm vanilla that reminds me a little of Yoji Yamamoto's first offering for women back in 1996. It also shares a comforting similarity with fragrances from the likes of Chanel and Cartier in that it smells expensive.
The bottle is distinctive and inside the packaging there is a note reminding users to pull the top part rather than twisting it.
I imagine this lovely offering works best in colder weather and it's one of those fragrances where you simply cannot stop sniffing it.
A classic, expensive-smelling fragrance that's a little hard to find.
It's well worth hunting down if you can.
I added some photos below.

If you want to buy a bottle, try calling either the NYC or Chicago store (numbers on the Jil Sander web site) and ask if you can buy one or more over the phone with a credit card. I picked up my life time supply that way two years ago. (Why they don't release this to a wider selection of stores is beyond me.)
saw 1 last bottle in sephora a month ago..
no tester so didnt go for it kinda regret it
BUT usually when basenoters say good vanilla i sample it, No.. nononoo.
so yea i can live with it.
Thanks for the info and picture Jason.....I have Scent 79 For Men and it is wonderful.....If this is close to Scent 79 it has to be a winner.....Thanks again!!!
