Default Need Help Finding a Good Tea Based Cologne

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good tea based cologne that is soothing and sexy. It should also have good longevity and projection. I tried Bulgari Pour Homme Extreme which fit the bill for longevity and projection, but to my nose it smelled more green like an ivy scent, especially in the top notes.

    Any suggestions?

I second Osmanthe Yunnan, Gucci Pour Homme II and Tea For Two and I'll add..

Cuir Ottoman (a strong smoky tea vibe)
Guerlain Herba Fresca (verbena and tea)
Lalique Pour Homme Equus (Indian Chai tea)
Oolang Infini (long lasting tea eau de cologne)
    Silver Mountain Water (green tea)

I'd also suggest Bulgari Eau Parfumee Au The Rouge

Smells nice, rooibos and pink pepper. Would be a wonderful frag except it doesn't last very long.
My top 5: Sea Mist; Minnow; Crab, tiger, and almonds; Semprini; Rancid Polecat N° 2

+1 ... exquisite, black tea envelopes this fragrance, from its fresh opening, through its spicy heart, and finishing with its smokey base ... be forewarned, the projection and longevity may be lacking, but certainly its stupendous versatility more than compensates ...

Gucci II is excellent. Annick Goutal's Duel is another great, complex tea scent. Smokier than the Gucci. Neither are great in the longevity stakes though.

    Tea, sexy and strong ?
    Cartier - L'heure fougueuse
A unique fragrance, a little expensive but it worth the sniff if you can

    Beat me to it

L'Heure Fougueuse is a beautiful piece of work - I went thru a bottle this summer.

While you're at it check out Le Treizieme Heure from the same series - darker, less Maté more Lapsang Soochong vibe.

Most people don't think of it that way, but during a mystery smelling challenge, I got a strong green tea note from un jardin sur le nil. Might want to check that out as well.

Parfumerie Generale L'Eau Rare Matale. Hyperessence Matale is also probably worth sampling.

There have been some excellent niche fragrances listed above, and while many contain the tea note you mention, I believe Gucci Pour Homme II exudes the other sensual, sexual qualities you are looking for as well. It feels a little dirty when you put it on... I mean that in a good way.

five o'clock au gingembre (Serge Lutens) spicy tea, bright, warm and just a tad incensy.
