Yes - RUBJ it is! Although I prefer the parfum. I am a total cumin lover, but on me the EDP is too much even for me. The parfum on the other hand... at the top of my WL! But it doesn´t come cheap.

I think the Bond No. 9 recommendations are right on. I'm not high on the line for myself...but for feminine scents I like them...particularly scent of peace, bryant park, coney island, and a non-fruity scent: gramercy park.

Badgley Mischka is excellent too. As are Creed's Acquaint Fiorentina and Virgin Island Water.
on a budget, Éclat D'Arpege cannot be beat.

But if I had to choose a single fruity floral for my girl to wear forever, it'd be Acqua Di Genova La Superba Mora Di Gelso.

You could try the Chanel Exclusif '31 rue Cambon', if there is a Chanel boutique in Basel.
It came over as a modern creamy fruity floral when I tested.

For sweet and fruity, Jean Patou has a few that I enjoy; Sira des Indes - banana, red berries and pears with cardamom and heady ylang-ylang, over sandalwood, amber, musk and vanilla, and Patou Forever - pineapple, melon and raspberry with jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and rose over amber, vanilla and woods.

A not-so-sweet one is Enjoy, which they're calling a "new chypre" (aka "not a chypre"...though I still like it very much!) that has notes of banana, black currant and mandarin orange with cassia, jasmine and Bulgarian rose over amber, patchouli, musk and vanilla.

They're a bit harder to find, but Patou's Colony is a nice one with pineapple, ylang and iris over a leathery, musky base, and PanAme - it has pear, violet and linden ....come to think of it, Jean Patou is a great house in general for a well-made floral with lots of fruit.

l've sampled Tauer Perfumes' Une Rose Vermeille today & thought of this thread. lt's a sweet, dark-ruby-red, jammy rose with raspberries.

A similar one is Roses Elixir by Montale.

Seconding Sugandaraja's suggestions: Rubj and Pech Cardinal.

I would also recommend Petit Fracas by Robert Piguet and Une Voix Noire by Serge Lutens. Petit Fracas opens with a fruity floral note on a cacao base and the dry down is a fruity, chocolately floral. Une Voix Noire is an interesting fruity floral scent with a tiny hint of rum and smoke.

I say look into Rance. Some lovely fruity-florals and less longevity issues than Annick Goutal (as much as I love Annick Goutal) or if you want to try something a little more adventerous Miss Worth is a fruity-floral from the late 70's; florals are sharp and aldehydic so you won't get the treacle-y fruity floral character of more recent style scents. You can find this even on Ebay for a very good price, just be sure to avoid the 80's era atomizer bottles or anything newer.

Perhaps not the most high end but a benchmark of its time - the ageless Yvresse with its peach, apricot, rose, jasmin, cinnamon, all blended over vanilla, castoreum, cedar and styrax. I trust it hasn't been reformulated as I haven't seen it mentioned often. To me it is to fruity/floral what Paris is to roses and violets. Potent stuff indeed, but if used discreetly, a lovely thing.

My wife likes Creed Love in White a lot. It is more of a floral than fruity.

Try Diptyque's L'Ombre dans L'Eau - lovely blackberry fruit/leaf combo. Definitely fruity floral, but more sophisticated and interesting than your average designer fruity floral. It would be a great introduction to the world of niche for any fruity floral fan

For me, Annick Goutal Quel Amour is the best fruity-floral yet sophisticated and high-quality.
Also MDCI Peche Cardinal as well.
Don't forget the amazing FM Le Parfum de Therese, which is both young and vintage, innocent yet sophisticated!

A couple more have come to my attention since my above entry -

Histoire de Parfums 1804 is a fantastic pineapple-floral, and there's no mistaking the fruit within, and Mauboussin Pour Elle is an elegant rhubarb-floral with a whisper of buttery pastry, but it's more fruity/floral than gourmand.

Ormonde Jayne Frangipani - not quite my thing (so far anyway), but it gets lots of love and fits the bill of being a high quality niche fruity floral.

+1 on Hermessence Osmanthe Yunnan - fruity floral done right, gorgeous.

What about Visa by Robert Piguet? Peach, mandarin, pear, bergamot top notes, with orange blossom and ylang ylang coming through later.

A little goes a long way!

I would venture Histoires de Parfums George Sand. A peach/pineapple vibe with florals.

Notes: Tahitian gardenia, Corsican peach, Hawaiian pineapple, clove, Indian jasmine, lily of the valley, Moroccan rose, sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, vanilla, white musk.

Sophisticated, fruity florals. Both by Caron

    Acasiosa - pineapple and jasmine

    Montaigne - orange and jasmine

Nothing silly about either. Seriously beautiful florals with fruit. Not sticky or icky. Sophisticated.
