I don't have a particular brand that I love... It used to be all about Armani, Prada, Joseph, Alexander McQueen and John Galliano, but nowadays, it all depends on the design, textile and most of all, quality. I do, however, like clothes by Charli. They make comfy outfits for home such as yoga pants. They are very practical for someone like me who travels a lot. I also support independent designers and go to the London Fashion Week and fashion sales.

For pants or jeans I love Levi's; cords, chinos, jeans, you name it. Affordable and durable. For shoes you cannot go wrong with Vans. Vans has changed people, it is a multi-dimensional brand now, not just canvas kicks. I love their OTW line, so many good models and good quality. As far as jackets, anything good. I work at Tjmaxx so I buy many different brands; Stussy, Zara, Levi's, and right now I'm eyeing either a Marmot down jacket or a Tumi down jacket. God I just hope I don't even out this holiday season!

Lot of names and designers that I've never heard being mentioned. After doing a few Google searches I've come to a couple of conclusions; I'm probably not the right age or body size to participate in this thread. As a true ex follower of fashion, you get to an age where you have to give it up or risk looking ridiculous. The truth hurts but it's a fact of life.

I like A Bathing Ape and enjoy checking out the stores, but don't really own that much.

recently I find myself buying more of my clothes at APC and United Arrows/United Arrows Beauty & Youth which is a mix of their own stuff and other brands that they carry.

Lacoste for more dressier occasions and Abercrombie for whenever. Both quality clothing at reasonable prices compared to many other brands.
Well enjoying what you're wearing is crucial, it is of the utmost importance to wear something that others like as well.

Tom Ford's tailored suits are very nice but yes can be a bit pricey.

I don't wear ANYTHING designer. I don't have any need to spend money on that stuff. Normally I won't buy or wear a brand at all. I guess I have no style (so be it), doesn't matter much to me because I'm either working or have the kids anyways. My family would probably be living in a gutter if I cared the slightest about fashion (my obsession with fragrances is quite enough I think).

I hate designer clothes, I think they look retarded, the only designer stuff I buy are fragrances. I live in a beach/surf town so everyone here dresses the same. And it's too damn hot to be wearing anything but baggies (board shorts to you non-surfers), flip flops and a basic surf T.

Charvet, very nice Hednic. I have some shirts and PJs - place de la concorde but my memory is fuzzy.

If you get the chance, try some Berluti shoes. They're light and comfortable, they get some criticism for their construction but at least they're don't hurt my feet.

I used to spend way more time on StyleForum than Basenote.

Suit: Indochino MTM or Caruso OTR
    Shoes: Allen Edmonds
    Pants: Brooks Brothers Milano
Shirts: Brooks Brothers Extra Slim Fit or Modern Tailor MTM
Casual: Gant Rugger, Express, Tommy Hilfiger
Jeans: Earnest Sewn, Naked & Famous, 7

Once I find a brand that fits, I tend to stick with it so I know the fit will be consistent. I also work with a tailor to make sure every piece of clothing fits.

True religion and PRPS for jeans.

    Y3 for trainers.

    Botega Veneta leather belt.

Not to fussy about t shirts, it can be as affordable as Ralph Lauren or as expensive as Dior, but as long as its well fitting and i like it and can afford it.

Still mostly in Gap stuff over here, most all bought online too, I have almost retired from shopping at all. Cole Haan for dress shoes, because they make narrow width and are good; I've had some of mine for 10 years now, the oldest pair. I try to keep shoes to no more than a dozen pair and even with that restriction I am sure the shoes cost more than all the rest of the wardrobe combined.

I also still have a couple pair of Loomstate jeans. I really wish they had not stopped making jeans, these are awesome. Made in U.S, of domestically grown organic cotton, styling spot on in my opinion. They last pretty good but when these are gone it's over....

    This +1.
My key is buying online, then having my local tailor fit them to me. I buy my jeans as long as possible, then have them hemmed exactly to length. My shirts are almost always too baggy at the waist, so I have them taken in and tapered. Almost nothing off the rack fits me right, so I have to go the extra mile to have clothes that actually fit.

I love many clothing brands like H&M, Zara, Top Shop and Forever 21. They sell different clothes that are very comfortable to wear. I also love their seasonal clothing collections that are perfect for the weather or season. I also love their colorful and trendy dresses that are perfect for my age. They also sell cute and affordable accessories.
