    Default Annick Goutal Myrrhe Ardente

I was just browsing in a Annick Goutal store, sampling a few scents. Myrrhe Ardente was the real stand out to me, immediately reminded me slightly of Absolue pour le soir with the honey-beeswax and benzoin. I regret that I didn't try it on my skin, only a card strip, but it really is sultry and captivating. What are your thoughts on this one?

It is smokier than root beer, I think. An interesting, relatively simple scent that would layer well. Very nice.
Sans parfum, la peau est muette.

It smells nice, more like a skin scent to me.I wish it had more power.

I love it. The longevity is good and the sillage is also fine for me. I can smell it myself now and then without having to sink my nose to my wrist.

it does smell like root beer, a dense, opulent brew though. I love the stuff.

Nice, but to me this is more about amber and woods than exactly myrrh. Myrrh it's there but it's not exactly prominent IMO.

Magnificently correct. I smelled myrrh essential oil right around the time i bought it and i couldn't detect it much. It's definitely there but not prominent. Myrrh is very sharp, medicinal and bitter.
