Default Blind buying a sweet spearmint cologne ...

Today I brought some wrigleys chewing gum for work, I decided not to eat it (because it probably has to much sugar, it don't want to ruin my teeth) but instead I started smelling it XD

People would give me strange looks if I whipped a strip of gum and sniffing on it. So I was wondering if you know any sweet-ish colognes that smell kinda like spearmint chewing gum.

Roadster by Cartier ... a fresh, non-toothpasty mint, really a dark, subdued mint, which duets with a fresh, green fougere ... excellent quality and versatility ... very good sillage and longevity

Yeah I agree with Roadster and will also add Aqua Allegoria Mentafollia by Guerlain.

There are other more true-to-life, realistic mint leaf scents that I actually prefer more, but they are not sweet.

I'll suggest also looking into dirty by lush. It is minty, it is sweetened, it's also original and fun.
you might like it. I do.

another sweet and minty would be piper nigrum, but it's even farther from a chewing gum smell. excellent stuff.

Roadster is very good indeed, with a lovely vanillic drydown. Also look at MPG Centaure, where the mint is mixed with lavender and a honey note provides the sweetness.
    Disclaimer: idk lol

Alfred Sung "Hei" is a cheap choice that has a nice mint note in it.

+1 Dirty. Clear chewing gum mint, plus a weird mineral sandy note that makes it appropriately inedible.

YSL's Live Jazz has a very distinctive spearmint note. (I know, because I also prefer the sweeter spearmint over peppermint, and Live Jazz is the closest I've found.) The only thing is LJ also has rhubarb and cilantro as top notes and those can be polarizing to some people.

Roadster is ok, but to me it's more of a natural herbal mint, not the chewing gum/toothpaste kind like you find in Wrigleys.

Check out Green Water by Jacques Fath. The note pyramid says peppermint but I get spearmint. I appreciate it more than I do Live Jazz or Roadster in its mint quality and overall.

    this

Definitely look into YSL live jazz. It's a very refreshing scent, and the spearmint note is very similar to that found in the chewing gum

Roadster is great. Minty and woody. Picked it up recently and love it. Cant wait to wear it in the Spring.

I am myself looking for a gummy mint also but haven't found it yet. All the minty fragrances that I've tested, including Roadster, Menthe Fraiche and Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca, provide a fresh, realistic mint feel instead of the sweet mint that I'm looking for

Another one for Cartier Roadster, you may also want to check out Caron Yatagan. Since it has quite a prominent mint note.

Roadster is great. For another minty frag, go with Lacoste Booster (more peppermint than spearmint).

See if you can get your hands on the 2011 limited edition Jo Malone Fresh Mint Leaf.
Spearmint could be my favorite note.
