    I gave Lapidus several tries, and didn't like it. Sampled Aventus at Neiman Marcus, and thought it was overrated (so did my wife).
    I've concluded that as a rule, I don't care for fruit in my frags, with the exception of some of the citrusy fresh or aquatic scents (like ADG).

    I blind bought Lapidus once and it belongs under the sink next to the other cleaners. It's definitely powerful. Takes lots of scrubbing to get it off.

    Own both, Aventus is definitely way better, however, Lapidus gives me 10+hrs, while Aventus just 5-6...

    Sorry, Aventus lovers, but Lapidus is way better (even the new formula).
    And I'm not even going to talk about the cost-benefit relation...

    It is promising for the first 30 minutes then it falls apart and shows its true colors as a low budget drugstore fragrance....better than most department store designers but still a drugstore fragrance IMO.
