Default Vintage Bal Versailles: how to identify it?

I have a used bottle in sight, but I would love to know if it is the newest version.

I've noticed that most of advertised bottles nowadays have a yellowish juice.

The bottle I'm wondering about have a brownish juice. Bottle format and box are identical to the current.

    Any advice?

I'm not positive but I don't believe the color is a good indication of whether it is the pre or post reformulation juice. I think it has more to do with the concentration. I have a bottle of BaV that is relatively new (I think it's the cologne but threw out the box & can't remember which concentration I bought) and the juice is very dark.

AutumnLeaves, I'm not sure even about the juice color, considering it's a dark table and lighting also plays a role. Anyway, I already bought it, based on a sample of EDT I had that I suppose is not vintage either. It's trully a great frag, BTW, and on myself it doesn't smell feminine at all.
