Question Creed Bois de Cedrat v. Guerlain Eau de Fleurs de Cedrat

Which of these do you prefer and why? I tend to find the Creed a bit more satisfying and woodier while the Guerlain is softer and more floral. Both are very similar to my nose.

Have both in my collection and love both. My preference goes to the Creed.

I like the Creed because it's a very pure and clean cedrat that just thrills me.

I haven't smelled this particular Guerlain, but I have the Bois de Cedrat and it's awesome. A very cool, crisp lemon-citrus scent that lasts a long time on my skin. I could see where some would find it plain and unadorned, but I find it pure. Probably my favorite of this class of scents. Also, it's a really nice citrus scent to wear with a suit and tie-- a fantastic formal citrus.

I like Bois de Cedrat and own a bottle, but I'm stunned that Indie Guy says it lasts a long time on his skin. BdC has the absolute shortest life of any fragrance I've ever tried, bar none. I can't comment on the Guerlain, but I'd wear BdC more often if it lasted longer.

I have decants and will have to retry them -- perhaps when the weather warms up.
