    Default Crazy cheap fragrances.

It's winter now, and with winter comes the cold, and my lower budget, due to christmas spending. For a winter scent, I'm looking at very cheap colognes, mainly under then $30 range, even under $20.

I found a really cheap fragrance, that has pretty good reviews(out of the few). UDV by Ulric de Varens. I was wondering for those who have it, will it last throughout the wintertime? For common, everyday wear, 80% indoors. I'm a big fan of sweet musk too, but my sweet musks are mostly summer scents.

    - Aspen by Coty (Around $15 on Ebay), smells similar to Cool Water

    - Aqua Quorum (Around $15 on Ebay), smells similar to Polo Sport and CK Eternity

    - Halston 1-12 (Around $15 on Ebay), very soapy, in a good way

Lanvin Aprege pour homme - it's usually around $15 for a small bottle in TJ Maxx. It's well constructed, powerful, very complex and long-lasting but definitely try before you buy as it's not easy to wear.

Yes, I have it and it should last you through the winter. Enjoy it.

You probably won't need a full bottle, so go to ebay (or maybe TPC but TPC is expensive) and get yourself a few decants. For $30 you can get a pure malt and a l'instant extreme.

ebay Paul Smith or the Extreme version. They don't come much cheaper than those two. Surprisingly, they are very good.

Rive Gauche pour Homme is $25 for 4.2oz at Walmart, amazing bargain.
Lanvin Oxygene Homme, $25 for 4.2oz

Cool Water is going up in price so it's no longer a bargain unfortunately, but if you really want to save cash, pick one fragrnace you love and stick with it.

If you are a fan of sweet musk you may like caron's pour un homme or better yet le 3me homme .
pour un homme is probably easier to like for most.
cheap, and basenotes approved if you care.

Agree with a lot of the suggestions here, especially Azarro PH, Old Spice, and the Halston range. I would add Kanon Original (citrus/musk) and Norwegian wood (slightly spiced sweet cedar). Each is $7 at Ross.

Giorgio For Men $15 great for winter.
Polo Green(Belcam Knockoff is great for $10 at Walmart)
Ck Obsession(Also has a great Belcam knockoff at Walmart)
Pierre Cardin PM $15 for 8oz spray bottle
Jovan Sex Appeal $9 online $17 at Walmart
    Sung Homme $10 at Marshalls

Damn I wish I could find Rive Gauche for $25 at Walmart.

Both Perry Ellis 360 White and Black are nice for colder weather & can be had for around $20.
Also, you can find Burberry Brit online for $30-40 for a 100ml bottle, and it's a great winter scent.
(other good cheap winter scents would be Tommy Bahama Original & Montblanc Individuel).

    Realy cheap?

I enjoy these non-designer drugstore scents. They are mentioned as per the way they share notes:

    - Stetson (classic), Royal Copenhagen, Caswell Masey Jockey Club
    - Royal Copenhagen Musk
    - Brut Classic, Avon's Wild Country, Dana's Cano
    - Dana's / ex Houbigant Monsieur Musk
    - Dana's British Sterling

If looking for sillage and longevity, rule out all except Stetson and Jockey Club. All of the rest are restrained scents. If looking for uber sillage and longevity:

    - Bogart pour Homme.

Might just be Canadian Walmarts, but honestly, I don't know if you've smelled Rive Gauche, but it's honestly not worth any more than 25 tops, I would never pay the 50 I see it going for online. It's a nice classic anise-based fragrance, but as mentioned, fairly generic and hit at the same time 70's retro-chic was in, which explains the complaints about it being "old manish."

I have sampled Rive Gauche Light and loved it. I love Azzaro, and power house/super masculine fragrances are my favorite.

I just picked up a dirt cheap bottle of Portfolio Green by Perry Ellis. Very intense neroli thing going on, and it's incredibly synthetic and sweet, but kind of interesting, and I think impossible to wear in the spring or summer. Might be worth checking out. Also it reminds me of Aspen.

KISS Him. (Yes, the rock band.) It's quite a dark and dirty cuminy fragrance. If that's the kind of thing you like, KISS Him is a great deal.

It's a challenging, but very unique scent. It is strong at first, but it dries down into something more subtle.

I also have UDV (the dark-grey bottle) and while is too much for warm weather, it will sure last you through winter.
As for cheap fragrances, I've seen very good prices for YSL Body Kouros, Azzaro Onyx and J.C. Dirty English (bought a large bottle for Christmas and love it!)
