I tend to save the really heavy fragrances for colder weather. It doesn't matter if it's summer or winter. It can be 65 degrees in summer just like it can be 65 degrees in winter, especially in states like California. Fragrances like Rochas Man, Angel Men, and other darker and sweeter fragrances can be cloying and annoying to people when it's hot out. I would say that Platinum Egoiste (one of my favorites), is a great all around scent because it isn't really heavy, so it can be used in warmer weather. At the same time, its projection would be able to cut through colder weather.
