Default Robert Piguet fragrances - EDP vs. parfum

Does anyone have any experience with both EDP and parfum versions of Robert Piguet fragrances?

If so, would you please describe and compare them for me?

    Thanks.

Noggs, I remember having a sample of Fracas parfum and it was the most gorgeous thing ever: full, creamy and somehow fresh at the same time. The EDP has a powdery quality in my opinion and it smells more dated. It is not a bad fragrance, but the parfum is out of this world.

Bandit smells completely different in parfum (much less harsh) than the EDP. I recall the newer reissues (Visa, etc.) smelling similar in both concentrations. As mentioned, Fracas is stunning in parfum...hard to explain how...rich I guess? Emphasis on different notes?

I only have EDP and pure perfume versions of Bandit. Both modern releases. To my nose scent-wise they are almost identical, perfume being only slightly deeper and softer. Also longevity is about the same, but speaking of projection there's a big difference. EDP stays quite close to the skin, while perfume projects much better and its heart and base notes are more noticeable right from the start.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."
