Default do ysl rive gauche and azzaro pour homme share similarites?

Hi i am 24 i tried azzaro pour homme and i did not like it, it was very strong and something i would not where yet maybe when im older. I like the sound of rive gauche just interested if it is similar to azzro pour homme if it is i will decice against going for it. As for sampling im in UK i have been to the main stockists in town and none of them have rive gauche so it would be a blind buy reasonably cheap one. Thanks

Try first. Both have same general vibe to me but RG makes you feels much "cleaner".

Indeed, there is a slight "barbershoppy" note in both

somewhat Brutish, albeit very good, the old man vibe may not be to your liking ...

They are different but I prefer the great YSL RV opening but the Azzaro drydown is much better. So it's cool vs class and I choose class

They are both 'mature', barbershop-type scents but they are sufficiently different that whilst I share your dim view of Azzaro, I love RG.

They share some similarities, but Rive Gauche is much modern, and, well, better.

RG PH is nice. It really is a barbershop in a bottle.
Azzarro PH doesn't project large and doesn't have great longevity except close to the skin...but is easily one of the best masculines ever made and miles ahead of RG.
I think if you don't care for Azzarro PH too much now then RG PH will also feel like an 'older' scent.
