I bit the bullet last week and purchased a vintage Miss Dior parfum in a 60ml bottle. It is very similar to the bottles used for LPdMD, with the circle in the centre of the glass which holds the perfume name. It has a gold top instead of the glass stopper of the current packaging.
I tried without success to confirm that a 60ml extrait could be genuine, not having ever seen a parfum in this quantity. I thought I was doing well getting a vintage No 5 that was 30ml
Anyone shed any light? If you search Ebay you'll find it mentioned as she has more
than one in her inventory. An SA in Melbourne said she thought that some of the products sent to the Middle East had indeed been done in larger quantities.
Although I've bought it already, I still continue to be plagued with curiosity
Yes, Miss Dior parfum came in 60ml bottles.
I own older Miss Dior parfum in 60ml, 47ml, and 30ml, and a special Esprit du Parfum in 100ml. My 60ml bottle is as you have described yours.
All of these bottles were bought in Saudi Arabia, but I don't know if the 60ml size was sold exclusively in the Middle East.
