Default 18 year old looking to expand my small collection.

I am 18 years old, I only have 3 fragrances currently but approx 20 samples.
    The fragrances I own are:
    ~ A&F - Fierce
    ~ YSL - La Nuit De L'homme
    ~ YSL - Body Kouros

Samples that I am thinking of buying:
~ Dior - Homme Intense (Although seems slightly similar to La Nuit De L'homme)
~ YSL - M7 (I wasn't sure about this one at first, but it's growing on me)
~ D&G - The One (However longevity is awful on me so I am not sure)
~ Burberry - London (My brother owns this but is at uni for most of the year)
~ Chanel - Bleu de Chanel

Most of these are quite sweet fragrances and many reviews I have read have said they are Autumnal/Wintery fragrances. I'm looking to sample some muskier fragrances as well as Spring/Summery fragrances. I'll be grateful for any suggestions.

I would just say sample, sample, sample, until you find something you thoroughly enjoy and would appreciate having a full bottle of.

Yes, I have been, I'm just looking for some suggestions of what other people like.

La Nuit is a good starting point i think, as is body kouros (haven't smelt fierce).
From the samples you mention I'd say go with M7 first. Dior Homme intense is great but doesn't fit into quite every situation.

It seems you like YSL stuff, you should try out Live Jazz. Great summer fragrance, sweet grapefruit/mint. reasonably cheap to buy a full bottle and spray liberally (assuming you like it)

Out of the ones you own I own as well A&F Fierce and La Nuit de L'Homme. Out of the ones you are looking to buy I own D&G The One, Burberry London and Bleu de Chanel. Here is what I think:

D&G The one: I would pass; I do like its scent but use it when I don't want a long lasting scent or something that will stay close to the skin. Either way I don't find the purchase worth it and would not buy it again.

Burberry London: I find this one great for winter. Definetaly a keeper.

Bleu de Chanel: I have owned this fragrance for 2 weeks and have liked it alot. To me it is a bit classier version of Allure Homme Sport (which is also a great scent). If you like it I would definetaly purchase it.

    Other suggestions:

    Bulgari Aqua
    Carolina Herrera 212
    Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
    Davidoff Cool Water
Creed Green Irish Tweed (Although you can use this one anytime)
    Creed Aventus
Chanel Allure (Just the right amount of sweet, woodiness and freshness)

If you are into sweets and perhaps fruity scents also look into 1 Million by Paco Robanne and Mont Blanc Individuel.
    Top 5 Favorite Fragrances:
    1) Creed Aventus
    2) Creed Millesime Imperiale
    3) Kiton Black
    4) YSL M7
    5) Gucci Pour Homme II

I think 'Creed' is quite far out of my price range, a friend of mine has Davidoff Cool Water and I really like it. Thank you for your suggestions, it's a big help.

The only one from your list I like is Burberry London. My main problem with it is versatility (or lack thereof). I own and appreciate it, but never seem to have the right occasion to wear it.

I agree with the prior Terre d'Hermes recommendation. That is one that works for just about any occasion or time of year, IMO.

A bottle might be a bit pricey but try looking for a sample or a decant. Sometimes a decant costs slightly more than a designer cologne but im pretty sure after trying some you may change your mind. I was like this at first. Most creeds to me aren't worth it but Aventus and Green Irish Tweed are great fragrances that I feel are definetaly worth it.

Spring and Summer are coming so I would concentrate on fragrances for that weather

    Chanel Allure Homme Sport
    Cool Water
    Acqua di Gio
    The Dreamer
    Bulgari Aqua

La Nuit, Fierce and BK are all good - if you want to try more sweetish youthful scents try these

    Fuel for Life
    1 Million
    Black XS
    Play Intense

If you want to smell different-keep buying samples of niches and when you find ones you like buy decants

If you love La Nuit De L'Homme, check my top 7. Grab samples of a niche fragrances.. for a formal suit and tie event or something.
Lumiere Noire is a great choice! But sample sample sample first!!

If price is an issue, go with 1 Million or Allure Homme Sport by Chanel. Dior Homme Intense is good, I'll admit, but you're going to be overlapping with La Nuit in terms of use...

Allure Homme Sport = Great cologne to wear after the gym.
1 Million = Great clubbing scent... and only use it for that.
    Top 5:
    1) La Nuit De L'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent
    2) Lumière Noire pour Homme by Maison Francis Kurkdjian
    3) Royal Oud by Creed
    4) One Million by Paco Rabanne
    5) Allure Homme Sport by Chanel

Bulgari Aqua pour Homme Marine by Bulgari - Initially, one is slapped with a bitter citrus, provided by the sharp grapefruit and sour neroli brigarade, slowy tempered by the fruitiness of sweet melons and somewhat medicinal cucumber. From afar, a sprinkling of saltiness beckons the invigorating opening to its waiting middle. Here, in the heart, a magnificent stew brews with the pine-like, tangy rosemary flower, coupled with what I venture to say is calone with its watery, marine and ozone accord as well as posidonia, with its sea grass, vegetal highlight and oceanic spiciness, to furnish a delightful, fresh, seashore apparition. Transitioning to its untroubled base, white cedarwood with its crisp, dry and clean woodiness carries the piece to its comforting drydown. This unique, brine composition, a treat to be enjoyed in the warm weather of spring and summer, has good projection and average longevity.
