They do sell authentic stuff BUT their packaging is horrible. If your fragrance bottle makes it in one piece, you should thank god.
Besides their customer service is no better than most other lousy etailers. They don't respond to emails.

Agreed. Authentic, but the packing is crazy...

    - drop frag (in box) and samples, unwrapped, into 1-foot cubic cardboard box
    - wad up a big ball of brown paper and stuff it in the center of the box
    - seal box
    - if frag breaks samples, you won't complain
    - if frag itself breaks, they will give you refund or repeat order

But always genuine, reasonable price, and fast.

Very well put except you forgot to mention the 'purse mirror' that they toss in, free. LOL

perfumesbeautys is no longer a registered user on Ebay, apparently doing some recent ripoffs.

What do you guys think of buying off ebay from a seller with a high feedback score?

I was thinking of getting this:

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Egoiste-Colog...item35aa074eef

But he doesn't mention the word "Genuine" in his description.

Do you guys know where I can get some cheap Chanel Perfumes?

    Fragrancenet is out.

Fragrancex only sells testers and small sizes and I want the full packaging because I'm a materialist

    Strawberrynet isn't that cheap.

Anywhere else I should look in order to find cheap Chanel fragrances?

Also with fragrancenet do I have to wait at home to sign for the parcel or does the post man just leave it at the doorstep?

Fragrancenet use UPS - they usually leave it by your door or in a safe place that can't be seen from the street too well. They also ring the doorbell before dashing off.

Chanel has been clamping down on it's distribution channels for some time now. It has become quite difficult to find Chanel "cheap", ie 25%+ less than retail. Also, popular Chanels are popular to counterfeit. If I were you (and I will be this coming Christmas), i'd bite the bullet and buy it outright from a brick and mortar store, or another member here on Basenotes.

I've ordered from FN about 15 - 20 times and have never had any problems at all. The "juice" has been fresh, no breakage, no problems with sprays, etc.

That being said, I would never order a FB of Chanel anything from an online discounter, and Creed is risky too. Chanel is by far the most likely to be "faked," as their logo is known and wanted all over the world, on everything from clothing to sunglasses as well as perfume. I've heard that Creed's Green Irish Tweed is often faked, but am not sure about the other scents. Still, I'd never buy either from any place other than a brick 'n mortar store or from a fellow perfume fan I know and trust.

Fragrancenet just told me after I pay they don't accept paypal for international orders =.=.

That's strange, they accepted paypal about a month ago when I ordered from them.

personally i wouldnt worry too much, fragrance net guarantees its products 100% so if you can prove its a fake after opening it you shouldnt have any trouble getting your money back.

Exclamation Green Irish Tweed from Fragrancenet

is it safe to order from fragrancenet.com? are their creed cologne's always authentic? has anyone ever gotten a old bottle that has faded top notes? i was going to order one from the creed site but i live in a small town in canada the total came up to $345.00 whice is abit more than i'm willing to spend on my first expensive cologne.

Hey Marshmellow, I ordered from them a couple of weeks ago and had no probs. Use paypal instead if you can. Much much safer when dealing with any online companies, although I really recommend Fragrancenet. They are definitely not dodgy and they've always shipped my orders really quickly.

    Default concerns about fragrancenet.com

Are they legit I've read yes and no and it seems that its about 50 50 saying yes theyre legit or no theyre not I dont see how they would have stayed in business so long if they weren't but i get the feeling that they might know who theyre getting their fragrances from im just concerned I would like to save money but I dont mind paying more if i know im getting the product i want.

Weird..... Never experienced anything like that with Fragrancenet. Just email them and ask them what the story is. It is ridiculous not to accept paypal when it is clearly the safer option and they usually offer payment by paypal. They are pretty quick to respond to emails.

Well I am using a pre-paid visa card, might that be the problem then?

I was tempted to buy an 8.4 flacon of Creed Royal Water from them, but the price is extremely low and we all know what happens if something looks too good to be true........

I see it mentions *Great Britain orders are dispatched from the UK and delivered via Royal Mail with full tracking information. Please allow 4-7 business days for delivery." Does anyone know if they have an actual UK presence, or do they get their stock and post to UK customers via another company? My main concern is the stoppers on these Creed bottles and the care with packaging. From reading other posts, it seems that the packaging is not always adequate. Also I'm wondering just how old this Creed is to be sold at the low price of $174.19. It's less than half the price of what it is sold for in the UK.

The pre-paid visa could be the prob. Either that or they don't like Kiwi's. Just jokes... I'm originally for Wgtn.
I've ordered from FragranceX before but MEGA slow shipping and terrible customer service. People in America seem to have no probs with them though. Strawberrynet is great but more expensive... some things like Serge Lutens' are well priced especially when the dollar is good. But usually I use fragrancenet and orders usually arrive in a week and there's always a 15% off code if you search on google. If I were you, I'd link a bank account to your paypal and try with that. Good luck

Some basenoters were saying that they also got a free sample of Exceptional... because you are cologne with each order. I don't know if this is still the case, but I believe every basenoter needs to wear this cologne out at least once in their lifetime. Not a bad scent actually.

No problems with Fragrancenet here, except that the 'Basenotes' coupon doesn't seem to work anymore.

I bought 1 Million from them a week ago, got a bunch of coupons, an Exceptional sample (its eh...ive smelled something like it before), and 1 great, and as far as i can tell, real fragrance. And it came within 3 days of ordering.

To me, theyre a great business where you can find almsot anything for less

I've never had problems with FragranceNet. All fragrances I ordered were authentic. Okay, I really hate that Exceptional sample, but...really no problems with this online store.
