Default Was Coty's Wild Spice the inspiration for London for Men by Burberry ?

That's the impression I'm getting with this one. Wild Spice's opening isn't especially wild but the drydown may actually be stronger than London's. I'm going to have to give this one a normal wearing, but it seems really close to London, and in fact the drydown may be better (holding the spice notes longer). Anyone else have this one? It's selling for peanuts these days but it seems like once this stock is gone that's it.

I find Burberry London to be somewhat unique from anything else I've tried or owned.

Could be. A lot of frags are similar to others in one aspect or another.
