Rarely wear em where I live as temps are rarely above 73 F:

Eau de Rochas pour Homme (The original name before it was reformulated into EdR Homme)
    Signoricci 2 (original 1976 formulation)

    Eau de Guerlain (pre-2005)
    Mugler Cologne

By definition, Grottola, eaux are not lasting at all.

I love Cologne Imperiale by Guerlain. Fresh and wonderful and no longevity at all.

If you want an eau scent with some longevity, try MPG Pour Le Jeune Homme EDT. (It's named just for you! ) Fresh citrus/orange of an eau with a little more tenacity. Part of their Les Caprices du Dandy collection.

There is also the lemon and orange by Bigelow, which is an EDP.

If we're keeping this traditional EDC-style or truly classic citrus, no contemporary fruity citruses of citrusy aquatics....just citrus, citrus blossoms and leaves, and minor supporting notes, done in classic styles....

I would rank Truefitt's West Indian Limes, Fresh's Hesperides, and Kilian's Prelude to Love highly but feel them too contemporary for a thread started by someone with the taste of the OP. so here goes....

    1. Creed Selection Verte
    2. Maitre Parfumeur Et Gantier Pour Le Jeune Homme
    3. Lorenzo Villoresi Acqua Di Colonia

    4. Parfums de Nicolai Cologne Sologne
    5. Hermes Eau D'Orange Verte
    6. Hermes Concentre D'Orange Verte
    7. Nicolai Balle De Match

    8. Guerlain EDC Imperiale
    9. Creed Neroli Sauvage
    10. Nicolai Cedrat Eau De Cologne
    11. Brioni Eau De Parfum
    12. Guerlain Eau De Guerlain
    13. Acqua Di Parma Colonia
    14. Penhaligon's Eau De Cologne
    15. Roger & Gallet JMF Extra Vieille
    16. Creed Citrus Biggarade
    17. Miller Harris Tangerine Vert
    18. Annick Goutal Eau De Hadrien
    19. Trumper Eau De Cologne
    20. Creed Bois De Cedrat
    21. Guerlain Cologne Du Parfumeur
    22. Nicolai Cedrat Intense
    23. Maitre Fraiche Badiane
    24. Eau De Rochas Homme
    25. Malle Cologne Bigarade
    26. Dior Eau Sauvage
    27. Trumper GFT
    28. Acqua Di Parma Arancia Di Capri
    29. Czech & Speake Citrus Paradisi
    30. Guerlain Eau De Fleurs de Cedrat
    31. Chanel Eau De Cologne
    32. Trumper Extract of West Indian Limes

Of all the hundreds of citrus perfumes I've tried, those are the rough ranking of what I feel are the ones I can truly call "classic". Bolder are the ones which last a long time (relatively speaking) that I also never tire of wearing.

Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino. Technically it's not an Eau de Cologne, it's actually an EdP, but it smells just like a classic Eau.

Eau de Guerlain has the best lasting power of all the EdCs that I've worn. But it's also a bit of a cheat; it's more than a true Eau as it has basenotes.

This list looks comprehensive. I would however add: Guerlain, Eau de Cologne du Coq. Absolutely fantastic spritzy, 'lavendery' and beautiful. Longevity short as with all classic EdCs.

Vintage Chanel for Men / Cologne.... without a doubt smells the best and projects the best on me....a close runner-up would be Roger & Gallet's Jean-Marie Farina eau de Cologne a really nice herbal-citrus scent....

I agree. However, this is my 'issue' with Eau de Guerlain. The citrus top is so lovely, but the basenotes are so generic and bland. I'd rather have my frag leave me for good instead.

Acqua di Parma Colonia for both, classic Eau de Cologne and the fact that it lasts on me longer than others have reported.
4711 because it is THE classic and if applied right lasts longer than most think.

It's neither "classic" nor EDC, as has been mentioned, but the longevity on Tom Ford Neroli Portofino is good. Smells great. I'm a fan.

To me, Mugler's Cologne is the freshest and longest-lasting, Hermes' Eau d'Orange Vert is the most iconic, and YSL's original Pour Homme is a better version of the citrus up front, dirty-in-the-drydown genre than Patou's.

Eau De Guerlain is surely one of the most tenacious EDC type of stuff but, despite it doesn't last long I'm also quite of a sucker for Chanel Eau De Cologne.

If you're going animalic, don't forget Czech & Speake's Citrus Paradisi... it does for grapefruit what YSL pH does for lemon. Civet and grapefruit... pew!

Oh god am I a complete sucker for these! Own Jean Marie Farina, Armani Eau pour Homme, YSL pour Homme and Blenheim Bouquet, had buyers remorse at the counter with bottles of Eau Dynamisante, Eau de Rochas Homme, Monsieur de Givenchy or Kenzo Power Cologne in my hand, and I'm currently hankering for some Concentre de Pamplemousse Rose.

Which smells the best, for me? One of Acqua di Parma Colonia Intensa, Eau du Sud or Eau de Guerlain.

For long lasting, I've not tried even half of Dullahs list, but Eau de New York, Bigarade Concentre, Tangerine Vert and Neroli Portofino really last on me.
