so as anyone can tell from my posts, i really like liz claibornes curve. I haven't found a better scent than it especially when its slightly hot outside, its very good for casual wear. I like to wear cleaner scents for formal wear, but curve is great for me with jeans and a t-shirt. my q is what other scents are out there that have that misty/mossy/ woody curve character paired with a muskier and heavier quality such as smoke, oud, incense, vanilla/powder or chocolate? that will cut through the cold air. thanks in advance!
I think the word "Curve" is forbidden here.
yeah i don't get that... fine a "platinum egoiste" like winter frag?
Curve is awesome. I don't know why people hate on it so much..RVERYONE HAD A BOTTLE OF THIS AT ONE TIME IN THEIR FRAGRANCE CAREER!!!...and I still receive numerous comments when I wear it. Jeez!!! Leave curve alone. It smells better than some of that niche crap you guys drop a small fortune on...
I like curve...
How about Davidoff Hot Water? I know it seems hated in the reviews, but it seems to have that curve-like vibe to me for a winter scent.
Some other recommendation are:
-Allure Homme Sport (Casual wear)- has a very nice citrus top not and settles to a very good and smooth vanilla.
-Bleu de Chanel. I can see this noth as casual and formal wear.
-Creed Aventus. Amazing longetivity and projection.
-Creed Green Irish Tweed. Very good for formal wear.
If you want something incensy, chocolately, sweet yet good fragrance, but not really for formal wear, something good would be:
-Body Kouros. Very good projection if its what you are looking for.
-A Men or Pure Malt (although I personally dislike them)
-Jean Paul Gaultier.
-YSL La Nuit de L'Homme.
As soon as you said incense I tough of YSL Kouros although I personally dislike it.
Top 5 Favorite Fragrances:
1) Creed Aventus
2) Creed Millesime Imperiale
3) Kiton Black
4) YSL M7
5) Gucci Pour Homme II

yes, for now curve is great for me, it develops very well. i recently got a bunch of samples from a friend on here including some scents like dior homme intense and l'instant. Personally, i like curve better its simple, straightforward and masculine imo
I used to swim in Curve back in high school many years ago. I used to love it and probably would still find it a great fragrance now, but I'm not sure I can ever wear it again.
IMO, it's good for the spring and summer, but can be worn anytime if you're indoors.
Trussardi Jeans for Men- a warm, alluring, comforting casual plummy male gourmand, with a slightly powdery drydown, a tad more mature than the rest of the notes but still versatilely wearable
