So far, the only immortelle-centered composition that I strongly disliked is Eau Noire (meh)...and I've tried quite a few...I know, I'm a sucker.

Now, on to my rant. I don't get what all the buzz is about regarding this fragrance. Maybe I'm going nuts, but it totally smells like a typical sickly sweet designer frag. It has hints of of B*Men, 1 Million, and the opening of Pure Havane.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad scent. But I just can't picture myself paying $250 for a 50 ml bottle. Too bad, I really had high hopes for this one. Am I in the minority on this?

No your not, I remember when I tested this, I found this quite similar Gautier^2 in the dry down

The only thing I hate about Niche fragrances: I would sometimes purchase a niche fragrance based on the hype it received on basenotes. After I purchase the fragrance, there is always a different blog on how much the fragrance sucks lol! I personally adore the fragrance and I'm very glad I purchased it.

The whole Amouage line is so overpriced except the whole Attar series.

The regular Amouage line is just the insult for Amouage Attars.

Decent scent. $250 dollars...C'mon man. That's higher than giraffe ass.

The quality (Ingredients) of the regular Amouage line is just as good as designer fragrances and not better.

That´s why I think the regular Amouage line is overpriced.

Id take Reflection Man over XXV any day. My nose picks waaaay too much cinnamon in xxv to the point of it being a sickly feeling, like Ambre Narguile.

Thanks for this. This is much less money than I have been paying for a decant of jubxxv.

This and Tribute are my top two favorites of all I have tried so far.

This is a bizarre scent, I hated it initially to me it smelt like fruity vodka and incense sticks but slowly I have warmed up to it, my mom and sister thought it was gorgeous and opulent. Longevity on this is great, sillage is spotty I find. If I got a very good deal, I would buy it, as I was not remotely impressed with all the other Amouage EDPs, save for this one.
