Perhaps Micallef Imperial Santal
Guys can you help me find a woody fragrance that i might like...I like patchouli and amber smell, but i wanted to try something else. Btw, i hate vetiver a lot ( except for vetiver oriental i kinda like it since there's a sweet scent )
Here's a list of woody fragrance that i have and like
1. Philosykos ( love this one a lot but i'm not looking for any fig based type again )
2. Coromandel ( loving the patchouli and powdery smell )
3. HdP Amber 114
4. Parfum d Empire Ambre Russe
Now here's a list woody scent that i've tried and dislike
2. Cedre from SL
3. Mark Birley for men
4. Santal 33
5. Mazzolari Lui ( i like patchouli but this is too much for me )
6. Arsene lupin dandy
8. Vetiver tonka
Is there any other woody-type fragrances that i should try, that might make me like it ?

Caron Yatagan: a vegetal blast over dark woods. Or even YSL M7, dark woody with a touch of candied fruits.
In the sandalwood category (which is not really woody in the usual sense) there's Egoiste by Chanel (the regular one, not the platinum version)
Uomo? Moschino by Moschino - One is initially treated to a crisp tarantella of bittersweet, citrusy kumquat and sweet and woody rosewood, tempered by an astringent and sour coriander. This fresh blend rapturously floats on a perfumed cloud, and eventually drifts to the awaiting middle. Here, in the heart, the fresh blend is supplanted by cyclamen, with its mildly sweet, floral accents, spicy and warm, cinnamon leaf as well as nutty clary sage, with its hint of anise. This invigorating medley flows to the waiting base. The refreshing base is a mixture of dry cedarwood, soapy musk and candied amber, moderated by antiseptic artemisia. An exhilarating and outdoorsy drydown ensues. This pleasant and masculine composition has average projection, albeit radiating, and excellent longevity. The quality to price ratio for this all-season fragrance is heavily skewed in its favor, given its inexpensive price.
Bois d'Ombrie by Eau d'Italie is quite interesting.
Tom Ford Oud Wood
Sounds like someones having a case of the Mondays
Gucci Pour Homme
Thanks for the suggestion guys. Now i just need to find some samples of those mentioned above.
I've tried molecule 01, to me, pretty much it smells odorless. Funny how i forgot about gaiac wood ( just remember after seeing micallef gaiac)..I've tried Le Labo Gaiac 10 and i kinda like it. I'm gonna try my 10 corso como sample again as well ( now there's a nice limited edition bottle hehehe )
If you like your wood sweet and slightly boozy then try Micallef's Gaiac (already suggested by many).
If you like it slightly sweet and fruity then: Feminite du Bois, Bois Oriental or Bois et Fruit are great. Tokyo Milk Dead Sexy is good as well.
If you like it whispering: Miller et Bertaux #1 (a tamed FdB), CdG Sequoia and Palisander.
If you like it dry: CdG Wonderwood, SL Chene, Bois D'Armenie (less dry).
Rocky Mountain Wood, great fresh outdoorsy woody scent. Very Unique!
Bois des Iles / Egoiste are both great sandalwoods...
"Wonderfully wild, eminently civilized" - Derby by Guerlain
My swap thread
Hermes Santal Massoia
Santal Blanc by Serge Lutens maybe. A sandalwood that smells more bready, buttery and gourmand then the wood itself
+1 For Wonderwood!! It is one of my all time favorite fragrances.
It may be a stretch, but you could try Cartier's Declaration Bois Bleu if you happen to see it.
I have Bois des Iles and dead sexy from Tokyo milk. Now i just need to try those really dry woody ones =)
