    Good morning,

I had a talk with Jicky this morning threatening never to look at her again if she did not show more personality when I wear her...
So, I went in a CLOUD of Jicky EdP. I only like this gal when she is energetic and vigorous.

Have a good start to your new work week!

Chanel Cuir de Russie, for the first time - I just received my decant last week, but I already think a full bottle is in order, even though getting my hands on one will involve a road trip to another province. It's the first Chanel that I've felt is "me" enough to wear regularly, though there are other Chanels that I think are just as gorgeous.

My SotD is Neil Morris Dark Earth. Listed notes (NM) include myrrh, sandalwood, golden musk, frankincense, green note, and earth accord.

It's one of those springlike February days here in the Sierra foothills. We've had a light rain and things are greening up. The male turkeys are strutting their stuff with eye-rolling enthusiasm, and there are two little lambs in the neighbor's pasture. It smells fresh and alive. All in all, it's a perfect day for this fragrance!

Bracing yet charming, floral + I'm-the-boss leather is Mollie Parnis to me. An old favorite which I don't enjoy sniffing directly for some reason, but love how she wafts up and makes her presence known through the day. She is Weil, and the proof was in the lingering drydown late this afternoon. Responds well to the old soaked half ball of cotton tucked into bra.
