I had a talk with Jicky this morning threatening never to look at her again if she did not show more personality when I wear her...
So, I went in a CLOUD of Jicky EdP. I only like this gal when she is energetic and vigorous.
Have a good start to your new work week!

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

I must be having an affair with Dior Jules as I find I am once again wearing it.

Hello, Basenotes People!
Just returned from a trip to Orlando and Mickey Mouseland. Am wearing Dolce Vita today. Didn't wear fragrance last week, since I knew I'd been sitting and standing in close quarters with so many others.
Sweetish, green, cardomommy Nanadebary Green.
Have been consciously, intentionally doing less and seeking mindfulness in between demanding workdays, so I've not been here much lately. Hope all my fine and fine-smelling friends here are enjoying a balance of pleasures. Smooch!

Splendid, on a cold day like today. Scents, like this, just make me happy to wear - it's like wearing fuzzy silk cashmere wool socks in my shoes all day.
Busy day at the office, have a great Monday everyone!
"Until you practice surrender, the spiritual dimension is something you read about, talk about, get excited about, write books about, think about, believe in — or don’t, as the case may be. It makes no difference. Not until you surrender does it become a living reality in your life."
-- Eckhart Tolle
Chanel Cuir de Russie, for the first time - I just received my decant last week, but I already think a full bottle is in order, even though getting my hands on one will involve a road trip to another province. It's the first Chanel that I've felt is "me" enough to wear regularly, though there are other Chanels that I think are just as gorgeous.
you all smell lovely.
Quarry, what you said. me too.
Kbear, Cuir de Russie is so very gorgeous, I fully support you in your full bottle journey!
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations."
