Default Bois Blonds by Atelier Cologne

Im interested in some colognes, and this one seems polarizing.
Reviews go to fantastic to boring, nonexisatnt sillage to monster projection, below average to longlasting.

What you think of this cologne?

I bought a decant of Orange Sanguine and quite liked. I got good longevity and sillage (for a citrus based fragrance).

How do you compare Orange Sanguine x Bois Blonds, in sillage and longevity.

    Also, it smells good?

Bois Blonds has much better longevity than OS, it has a higher concentration of oils, and smells better too. You should also consider Oolang Infini, it's my favorite from this line.

Equal longevity with every one in the line for me. Love this one as I do all of them

I have tried all of them, and have not found any to be worth purchasing.

Smells pretty nice but not particularly interesting or original. Not full bottle worthy IMO.

The disparity in quality between my decant and my full bottle is much too great for me to recommend Bois Blonds.

That entire line smells "nice" but is otherwise very boring and unoriginal, Bois Blonds being no exception.

Personally love it, and Grand Neroli is on buy list.

It's okay (I just applied a little from my sample). Stays very close to the skin. Somewhat pungent - bitter orange, I suppose. Nothing very original. I would prefer to get Maria Candida Gentile's Gershwin for something a little more interesting in this line, or Caron's Yuzu Man.

I own a bottle and I think it's great for summer!
It's edgy and a bit different from other cologne offerings.
For a cologne, it has good longevity and reasonable sillage.
    I would happily recommend it.

Just received my bottle and i liked.
I bought a 6.7oz bottle but i thought it would be much bigger, actually i was quite surprised and thought that i received a 3.4oz bottle.
I was expecting a smooth fragrance but not, its very sharp and green. Slightly reminds me Lubin Leau Neuve (new formulation) but less sharp and with better longevity and sillage.
Not the cologne that i was expecting (not cologney that much, in a traditional cologne way, floral citrus herbal) but a very good fragrance for sure, with fantastic longevity and sillage, for a citrus based fragrance.
Orange sanguine still my favorite. I will try (or buy them blind) the rest of the line, what do you recommend me, besides Orange and Bois?

I've owned their entire line and find I reach for them very rarely. Every now and then, when I'm in the mood for something bone dry with a little bitterness, I will go for Bois Blonds, Trefle Pur, or Grand Neroli. I find them to be good antidotes to the near omnipresent sweetness in most scents. This is the role Atelier Cologne plays in a wardrobe: a counterweight to the Lutens, Muglers, and syrupy/gourmand components of nearly everything else. In this respect, they feel very "grown up."

Having said that, it is rare that I want something as dry as they are. I usually reach for something more in the middle.
