Default Chinatown by Bond No.9 is horrible

One of the worst fragrances I have smelled. Buyer beware, if you buy the bon bon box not all fragrances are actually unisex. The reps said they were however.

    It's nauseating

I find it quite an interesting fragrance. I have been the owner of a decant for more than a year now but haven't used it on a single occasion so far. Why? I find it quite overwhelming and on the "too sweet" side. I can't think of an occasion either which it would fit. I guess I should just be brave and put it on on a day when I am at home and alone.

It is very sweet and a bit feminine, but it's definitely wearable if you're a guy. It's one of my favorites in the Bond lineup.
    Current Top Five:

    2. George Sand--Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier

IMO I don't think Bond no 9 is horrible, just over rated as a niche.

Anybody else feel like Creed and Bond are the 'designer' houses of the niche houses? Know what I'm saying? They're almost well known enough to be non niche. And they seem to be the first niche houses that people are introduced to.

Don't wear westside to work. I wore it to work one day and everyone thought I was drunk.

It's for the decided guy (on both sides of the decision).

One of Bond No.9's best! It can, like all fragrances, be worn by either gender and it is on my to-buy list

I like it a lot. If they were to make a flanker that was less sweet, I'd be all over it.

No. It may seem that way on here, but if you stop 50 people on the street, you will probably only find a couple that have ever heard of either. As far as Chinatown goes, I think it is ok...not terrible, but terribly sweet.
