    Default Reformulations

I was just curious if anyone here prefers the modern stuff to their vintage counterparts. Also, please refrain from posting about LT - with every single post about him, he looses more credibility in my book because most of the time he is wrong.

Older is better in my book.

Guerlains, Chanels, Lutens: Each successive iteration tends to proceed towards banality.

I always prefer the vintage (= original) version!

Older stuff for me as reformulations are usually done as a cost cutting measure to save money and the fragrance always suffers for it.

With Eau Sauvage, I specifically like the newest version with all the white, clear and silver packaging. I was rather surprised when I discovered this.

I slightly prefer the 2000-2011 Guerlain vetiver to the older one, and haven't tried last year's verison.
