Wink Scents you prefer to spray on clothes?

I typically don't like the idea of spraying my fragrance on clothes. But there's two in particular that smell amazing on clothes because the top notes stick around longer and still project many hours or even days later.

    Aventus
    Millesime Imperial

On the other hand, I prefer other Creeds like GIT and OS to be on skin. I think they develop better on skin, as their top notes aren't really my favorite.

    How about you?

Comme des Garcons SKAI is made to be sprayed on wool/cotton if you want it to smell with crispy/tart grapefruits rather than heavy labdanum.

I prefer Mouchoir de Monsieur on my clothes (or hair) to on my person, where it becomes a bit cloying. Tabac Blond extrait is also excellent on clothes. A dab of En Avion on my shirt works well, though it is much 'darker' at first than on skin, evolving more slowly.

Burberry London as it lasts longer on clothes.

I spray almost equally on my (clothed) chest and neck.

I can say with confidence that perfumes develop faster on skin.

You think it might be because of the body heat that clothes don't have?!?!

I don't own a bottle but from my tests I had a similar impression. On my skin the rose/rosewood is too intense to bear.

28 La Pausa, because it lasts a bit longer that way.

As long as the sillage and longevity are not too overpowering and pungently obnoxious, but also, as long as no stains remain which may require dry cleaning (or, worse, not even dry cleaning could eliminate), any scent

I agree with Skai although I enjoy wearing it just as much.

L'Ombre Dans L'Eau because I love its nose tingling opening and like to play it in slow motion...

I tend to spray any aftershave versions I have on clothes to make them last. Live Jazz especially is transformed like this. also Eau D'Orange verte (EDT) lasts a lot longer.

Millesime imperial. Spraying it on my clothes is the only way to get any kind of decent longevity with it. Pity too, since it smells so good on my skin. I hate that I have to respray it so many times over the course of the day, so I just spay it on my clothes now.

I tend to spray most scents on my clothes as well. I have very dry skin and unless it's an edp or a strong winter scent, it'll be gone from my skin in a couple of hours. Also, I honestly like more linear scents that don't transform dramatically, so I like holding those topnotes.

I tend to spray almost all light citrus scents on clothing - the increase in longevity is so dramatic and the detrimental effects are so minimal, it's almost always a good thing. Creed Windsor is great on clothing - really brings out the rose. Spicebomb lasts forever on clothes. That's another thing - I often put most of the scent on skin, but add one spray on clothing for longevity. Works very nicely.

Is sillage reduced when you spray on clothes instead of skin?

I get lesser sillage when I sprays on clothes, but I get better longevity so it is good enough for me.

A lovely fruity rose, with cedar and eucalyptus behind it, plus it doesn't stain clothing, stuff never ceases to bring a smile to my face.

Personally don't spray on my clothes.

For the scents that don't last/project as long, it's always best to spray on clothes. I spray Silver Mountain Water on clothes and because of that, I get a few more hours of longevity.

I also spray my sample of Millesime Imperial on clothes, but that doesn't seem to help much. I've had a really bad experience with longevity with my sample of MI. Not sure if it's a batch thing or it's always like that for everyone.
