Good morning! Have a great day!
Thread: SotD Wednesday, 7 March 2012
I'm doing this today to warm me up (-8 C for starters)...
And, of course, some Sous le Vent again to go with it.
Best to all for a hopefully lovely day lying ahead!
Good morning! Have a great day!
Oh, my. Yesterday was my birthday, and today's my late mom's. She wore Aromatics Elixir, which smells like Black Flag on me. Maybe my vintage Private Collection as she was also an Estee Lauder fan.
What do insomniac perfumers do to fall asleep? They count chypres!
Woo-eee ! It is warm in here today
I'm wearing Bois des Îles (Exclusifs EdT).
Have a great hump-day, all!

2nd day in a row, can't have enough of it (and my wife loves it..)
Hello all. Annick Goutal Myrrhe Ardente.
Morning all. Hope everyone is well. Cuir de Lancôme today.
Oh Larimar. You do spoil us. What a lovely start to the day. You have me smiling from ear to ear. Smooch.
Sunny and cold here. The wee birds are singing. Working outside again so my toilette simply involved some Cologne, (Genova).
Will dress later before going to work.

Hey, this is fantastic. Very sweet, dense, honeysh, kinda clean (soapy) and dirty (animalic) and hell yeah very potent.
Good morning !. SotD is Hugh Parsons Blue - in direct contrast with the day which is grey, damp, and miserable
Bulgari Pour Femme over here.
I am extremely upset (miffed/p*ssed) this morning -- we can't leave feedback any longer. Just seen Grant's whining about it -- what the H/F?
In case someone was wondering: yes, I was going to shout from the rooftops how wonderful and responsible and well-mannered and sublimely-tasted both Kiliwia and Warum are. Thank you both. Warum, nu zachem zhe tak? (hers floored and humbled me at the same time, $150 worth of various scents is impressive), Kiliwia -- you got me right, all my recent lemmings are crawling out of the woodworks to only start tearing my checkbook apart, them beasts. And I can't leave you any feedback, thank you very much.

Happy Happy Birthday, jujy54! I missed it yesterday, but kisses from one pisces to another xoxo
Larimar! I nearly ran off to work without posting and would have missed fabulous Josephine - great way to start the day - love those moves, lol!
I have been swept away by my vintage Shalimar and can't seem to wear anything else right now.
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins p. 189
What I am loving right now: Shalimar vintage extrait, Chanel Bois des Iles, Chanel no. 22, Le Labo Iris 39, Guerlain Iris Ganache
Jujy, how lovely to be remembering your mother with scent today.
I am in Gal Trebol and thinking of spring. We are supposed to hit record highs tomorrow.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Oh, fun! It's Chanel for ballet this morning, so I'm joining gandhajala (move over, will ya?) in that Bois des Îles. Mine is a bit of the 60s parfum ...and (I just can't resist) a light spritz of the current edt. Y'all have a fantastic day!
Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan
Serge Lutens Louve for me, so cuddly and soothing.
Best to all!

Panthere de Cartier Eau Legere for a gym day. I meet my trainer today for my 30 day tune up, whatever it's called. This lovely fragrance so light and inoffensive and pretty no one could object.
I hate posting from this kindle. :mad :
