I'm late catching this train, but imo L'Envol EDP is just a masterpiece.

Ether Pasha or Roadster would be my choice. If I had to choose only one I would go with Pasha but Roadster always peeked my interest.

I'm considering getting Roadster, Declaration and Declaration d'un Soir, having been able to test them all. Never been big on rose fragrances, but I think d'un Soir balances it out nicely. My only concern is that it might be a bit weak (although I haven't tested it as a sprayer - only as a dab on).

How is Declaration Essence compared to the original? They're around the same price.

L'envol EDP is pretty great and it can be found ridiculously cheap right now, I see the 80 and 100ml going for prices between 30-40 at discounters.

Cartier Déclaration Essence is mostly the same but less bright. It focuses on the spice, cumin, and leather over the sharp citrus and herbs.

I would get Declaration Parfum instead of Essence.

Big fan of Declaration L'Eau and Declaration d'Un Soir, really would like to try DDUN Intense and Declaration Parfum. Was not a fan of L'Envol EDP but heard that the EDT is nice.

Owned a bunch of Cartier. Sold off every single one. It’s like they’re too “stoic” for me. I have the same struggle with Bulgari. They’re a bit serious for me.

    Yup. It's a steal.

That one is almost cumin-free and feels more like a flanker in a different style than a concentration upgrade. I need to get my nose around it again

I love L'Envol, but agree that it's a pretty "suit" type of fragrance, fitting a more mature kind of personality.

It reminds me of my bottle of Obenaufs LP that I use on my boots and wood handled tools after work. A much better smelling version of course. That association is probably why I don't see it as pretty or suit-like. It relaxes me.

I like Declaration d'Un Soir as well.

....but I will say that my recent acquisitions of Pasha and Santos are very enjoyable, and a bit warmer in personality.
